Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X4 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Fonts of Choice – I used Arial Black & Carlotta
L en K Site of Wonders – Zitah
FM Tile Tools – Blend Emboss
AAA Frames – Foto Frame
Xero – Soft Vignette

I used the awesome artwork of Rion Vernon (PinUpToons)
You will need a license from CDO to use his work
Please do not use Rion’s work without purchasing a license first

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 600×250
Choose 2 colors from your tube, a dark color for your foreground and a light color for your background
Set your foreground to a fore/back gradient mix
Linear / Angle – 45 / Repats – 1
Flood fill your canvas

Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – Radius set to 25
Duplicate this layer
Image, Mirror

On the copy, lower the opactiy to 50
Layers, Merge, Merge Down

Add a new raster layer
Selections, All
Copy and paste your tube INTO selection
Selections, None
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – Radius set to 25
Change the blend mode to Screen

Effects, Texture Effects, Blinds:
Width – 2 / Opacity – 65 / Color – Black / Horizontal & Light from left/top – checked
Repeat the blinds again (same settings)
Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen
Lower the opacity of this layer to about 65
Hide this layer for now

Activate the bottom layer
Effects, Plugins, L en K’s Site of Wonders – Zitah – use the default settings
Repeat the Zitah plugin
Effects, Plugins, FM Tile Tools – Blend Emboss – again use default settings

Duplicate this layer, hide the original
Unhide the blinds layer
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible

Activate the original layer
Layers, Arrange, Bring to top
Resize by 85%, all layers uncheked
Rename your layers, 1 & 2, 1 being the bottom layer and 2 being the top

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Position so the face is towards the right edge of layer 2
Duplicate and Image, Mirror
With your copy of tube active
Layers, Merge, Merge Down

Activate layer 2
Selections, All, Float, Defloat
Selections, Invert
Activate your tube layer and press delete on your keyboard once
Selections, None
Change the blend mode of your tube layer to Luminance (Legacy)
Lower the opacity to about 25

Activate layer 2
Adjust, Hue & Saturation, Colorize
H – 147 / S – 0

Still on layer 2
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow
V&H – 6 / Opactiy – 37 / Blur – 29 / Color – Black
Repeat the drop shadow changing the V&H to -6 (minus 6)

Crop your canvas back to 600×250
Hide layer 1
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Edit, Paste as a new image
Working on this new image for now

Grab your selection tool, Click on Custom Selection

Press shift + R to crop to selection

Effects, Plugins, AAA Frames – Foto Frame

Edit, Copy

Back to your main canvas
Edit, Paste as a new layer
It should sit right on top of the original layer 2
You want it above 2 and the merged tube layer

Unhide the layer 1 now
Activate your top layer
Copy and paste your tube
Position in the middle of the canvas
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V – -9 (minus 9) / H – 9 / Opactiy – 37 / Blur – 15 / Color – Black
Repeat the drop shadow again, with the same settings

Add a new raster layer
Flood fill with Black
Selections, All, Modify, Contract by 2 pixels
Press delete on your keyboard once
Selections, None

Hide your tube and frame layer
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Edit, Paste as a new layer
Make sure this is the top layer (below your main tube and frame)
Effects, Plugins, Xero – Soft Vignette

Change the blend mode of this layer to Overlay

Grab your selection tool and choose Custom Selection
Use the same settings as before
Press delete on your keyboard once
Selections, None

Grab your text tool and choose a bold font
Set your foreground to null, background to black
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Type out a word to match your tube in caps – I wrote ATTITUDE
Drag the word so it fills the inner grey area
When happy convert to raster
Lower the opactiy down to 20

Still with your text tool active choose another font
Using the same settings add your name
When happy with the placement, convert to raster
Add a Drop Shadow of choice – I used:
V&H – 2 / Opacity – 50 / Blur – 5 / Color – Black

Add your artists copyrights and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Save as a jpg/png
All Done Smile
