Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X4 but any version will do
Animation Shop
Tube of Choice
Fonts of Choice – I used My Nerd & EightFifteen
Eye Candy 5:Nature – Ripples
Mask 36 by Staci
Earth kit, by Pimp’d Designz or kit of choice

I used the awesome artwork of Sara Butcher
You will need a license from CDO to use her work
Please do not use Sara’s work without purchasing a license first

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400×400
Flood fill with white
Open Frame3 from the kit
Resize to 350pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer onto your white canvas
Image, Rotate, Left 90 degrees, all layers unchecked

Select your magic wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (Shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance: 25 / Feather: 0 /Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Select inside the blue area of the frame
You may have to click few times to get it all selected
Selections, Promote selection to layer
Selections, None

Add a new raster layer, name it R1
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 5: Nature – Ripples

Add another new raster layer, naming this one R2
Apply the Ripples again, but press the random seed button
Add another new raster layer, naming this one R3
Apply the Ripples again, but press the random seed button

Activate the promoted layer
Selections, All, Float, Defloat, Invert
Now press delete on R1, R2 and R3
Selections, None
Hide R2 and R3
Delete the Promoted layer

Activate your white background layer
Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer (I used paper5)
Activate your frame layer
With your magic wand – set the tolerance back to 0
Click outside the frame
Selections, Modify, Expand by 10 pixels
Activate your paper layer and press delete
Keep Selected

Copy and paste another paper of choice (I used paper10)
Press delete on the new paper layer
Selections, None
Change the blend mode on the top paper layer to Luminance (legacy)
Lower the opacity to approx 67

Activate your white background layer again
Copy and paste another paper of choice as a new layer (I used paper2)
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for MB and SW Mask 36 or one of choice
Source luminance, Fit to canvas and Hide all mask checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group

Open Greens2 and resize to 50%, all layers unchecked
Copy and paste as a new layer
Duplicate and Image, Mirror
Duplicate the mirrored layer
Move the copy below the original
Activate the top layer
Carefully erase the tail end of this layer
I drew a selection round the area to delete

Hide all layers, except the 3 green layers
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible
Unhide your other layers, Keeping R2 and R3 hidden still
Duplicate your green layer
Move the original below your frame layer
Erase any leaves that are below your frame
On the copy
Resize by 90%, all layers unchecked

Open the Cloud and resize by 60%
Copy and paste onto your main canvas
Position at the top so it covers the top part of your frame

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Resize if needed – I resized by 60% all layers unchecked
Position so it sits on the leaves
Add a drop shadow of choice I used
V: 4 / H: 2 / Opacity: 70 / Blur: 16 / Color: Black

Open Flower 4 and resize by 40% all layers unchecked
Copy and paste as a new layer
Position on the opposite side to your tube
Erase any stem that hangs over the frame
Add a drop shadow of choice I used
V&H: 2 / Opacity:64 / Blur: 9.65 / Color: Black

Open Flower 2 and resize by 40% all layers unchecked
Copy and paste onto your canvas
Position to your liking
Duplicate the flower, resize the copy by 85%, all layers unchecked
Again position to your liking
Duplicate the copy, resize by 60%, all layers unchecked
Again position to your liking

Add a drop shadow to all 3 flower layers I used
V&H: 2 / Opacity:64 / Blur: 9.65 / Color: Black

Hide all layers above your frame layer
Activate the paper directly below your frame
Select your preset shape tool
Set it to ellipse, Anti-Alias & Create as vector both checked
Foreground set to null, background set to black
Draw an ellipse that is roughly the same shape as your frame
The frame is not an exact oval

Do not convert to raster
Select your text tool and choose a font
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Set your foreground color to null
Background to a color of choice
Activate one of your paper layers
Place your cursor over the edge of the vector shape
When you get a symbol like this +A) or +T) click and add your text
Apply your text and position at the top of the frame
Convert to raster

You can now delete your vector shape layer
Unhide your layers, except R2 & R3
Move your text layer to above your cloud layer on your layer palette
Add a drop shadow to your text I used
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 64 / Blur: 5 / Color: Black

Activate the top layer on your layer palette
Select your text tool again and choose a font
Foreground still on null, background set to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name
Add the same drop shadow you did to your other text layer

Hide your white background and crop away any excess canvas
Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
At this point you can save as a jpg/png
Carry on to animate

Unhide your white background
Ensure layers R2 & R3 are still hidden
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Open up Animation Shop (AS)
Edit, Paste as a new animation

Back to PSP
Hide R1 and unhide R2
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Over to AS
Edit, Paste after current frame

Back to PSP
Hide R2 and unhide R3
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Over to AS
Edit, Paste after current frame

Staying in AS
Edit, Select All
Animation, Frame Properties – set to 25
Save as a gif file
All Done Smile
