Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X4 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Fonts of Choice – I used Japanese & Kato
Mask 191 by Cat at InsatiableDreams
Eye Candy 5: Impact – Bevel & Gradient Glow
Lokas Software – 3D Shadow
Xero – Pocelain & Radiance
Filters Unlimited – Photo Aging Kit

I used the awesome artwork of PinUpToons
You will need a license from CDO to use his work.
Please do not use Rion’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400×400, flood fill with white
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Resize if needed, I resized my tube by 70%, all layers unchecked
Position on the left hand side of your canvas
Effects, Plugins, Lokas Software – 3D Shadow

Select your preset shape tool, set to Ellipse
Foreground set to a light color from your tube, background to null
Line width set to 10
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Draw an ellipse roughly the same size as your tube
Position so its sits over your tube slightly
Do not convert to raster yet

Duplicate the shape layer
On the original layer, convert to raster
On the copy
Click the + sign on the layer palette
Now right click in the indented layer and select Properties
Change the width to 6 and the color to a dark color from your tube
Convert to raster
Still on the copy
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 5:Impact – Bevel

Activate the original layer and add a drop shadow of choice I used
V&H: 0 / Opacity:100 / Blur: 4 / Color: Black
Hide your tube ad white background layers
Merge Visible the two shape layers (Layers, Merge, merge Visible)
Unhide your tube and white background layer
Move the ellipse layer below your tube layer

Select your magic wand with these settings
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: checked
Click inside your ellipse
Selections, Modify, Expand by 5 pixels
Add a new raster layer and flood fill with a color of choice
Keep Selected
Move the flood filled layer below the ellipse layer
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer again
Position inside the ellipse
Selections, Invert and press delete on your keyboard
Selections, None

Change the blend mode of the tube inside the shape to Luminance (legacy)
Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Effects, Plugins, Xero – Porcelain
Use the default settings but change the blue to 0
Duplicate this layer
On the copy
Effects, Plugins, Xero – Radiance at default settings
Lower the opacity to about 60

Effects, Plugins, , Filters Unlimited 2 – Photo Aging Kit
Choose the Dust & Scratches option
Intensity: 135 / Texture: 128
Repeat again but have the intensity set to 128

Activate your white background layer
Set your foreground a to a mid tone from your tube
Set your background to a lighter shade
Change your foreground to a fore/back gradient
Style: Linear / Angle: 90 / Repeats: 0 / Invert: unchecked
Add a new raster layer and flood fill with your gradient
Resize this layer by 80%, all layers unchecked

Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from disk
Look for 191InsatiableDreams or a mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask checked
Layers, Merge, Merge group
Duplicate this layer
On the copy
Effects, Edge Effects, Enhance
Now reduce the opacity of the copy to about 50
Layers, Merge, Merge Down

Activate the top tube layer (which should be the top layer on your layer palette)
Select your text tool and find your Japanese font
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Set the font direction to Vertical and Left

Add your text – I wrote ‘beauty’ (but as I don’t speak Japanese it could say anything lol)
Position to the right of your shape
When happy with size and placement, convert to raster
Duplicate twice giving you 3 text layers
On the original
Adjust, Brightness and Contrast, Brightness/Contrast
Brightness: -50 / Contrast: 0
Effects, Image Effects, Offset
Horizontal offset: 3 / Vertical Offset: 0 / Custom: checked / Edge Mode: Transparent

On the middle text layer
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – Radius set to 4

Change your font to another of choice
Set your background to another color of choice
Make sure you set the direction back to Horizontal and Down
All other settings the same
Add your name and position where best
When happy convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 5:Impact – Bevel

Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 5:Impact – Gradient Glow
Set the color to match your text/tag

Add a drop shadow of choice I used
V&H: 3 / Opacity: 39 / Blur: 5.94 / Color: Black

Add your artists copyrights and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Delete your white background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done Smile
