Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X4 but any version will do
Tube and Image of choice
Font of choice – I used Many Weatz
Mura’s Meister – Copies
Xenofex 2 – Constellation
Eye Candy 5: Impact – Motion Trial
Lokas Software – 3D Shadow
AAA Frames – Foto Frame
My Checked Pattern
I used the awesome artwork of Chrissy Clark
You will need a license from CDO to use her work
Please do not use Chrissy’s work without purchasing a license first
Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 600×250
Copy and paste your image/tube as a new layer
Effects, Plugins, MuRa’s Meister – Copies
Choose the Wall Paper (rotate) on default settings
Adjust, Blur, Motion Blur
Angle – 90 / Strength – 100
Repeat the Motion Blur again
Effects, Art Media Effects, Brush Strokes
Effects, Distortion Effects, Wave
Effects, Edge Effects, Enhance
Duplicate this layer
Activate Raster which should be blank
Drag this to the top of your layer palette
Flood fill with the pattern I provided
Selections, All, Float, Defloat
Activate the copy of raster 2
Press delete on your keyboard once
Keep Selected
Back on raster 1
Selections, Modify, Contract by 2 pixels
Selections, Invert
Adjust, Add/Remove Noise – Add Noise
Random & Monochrome – Checked / Noise – 100
Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H – 2 / Opacity – 60 / Blur – 6 / Colour – Black
Repeat the drop shadow but change the V&H to -2 (minus)
Change the blend mode to Soft Light
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Resize so it better fits the canvas
Duplicate twice so you have 3 tube layers
On the original
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 5: Impact – Motion Trial
Click Factory Default
Then drag the line out the right
Ensure the line goes off the canvas
On the first copy of your tube
Repeat the Motion Trial but drag the line to the left
Make sure you click Factory Default first
Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Change the blend mode of this layer to Screen
Drag it below your checked layer (raster 1)
Activate the last copy of tube
Effects, Plugins, Lokas Software – 3D Shadow
Crop your canvas back to 600×250
Activate the bottom layer on your layer palette
Effects, Plugins, AAA Frames – Foto Frame
Repeat the Foto Frame on all other layers EXCEPT your main tube layer
Copy and paste your tube again as a new layer
Do not resize
Position on one side of your main tube
Drag this layer below your main tube layer
Change the blend mode to Soft Light
Grab your selection tool set to rectangle
Draw a selection round where the frame is
Press delete once on your keyboard
Selections, None
Select your text tool and choose your font
Set your foreground to null, background to a colour from your image
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name
Position where it looks best
I used the nodes to stretch it out a little bit
When happy convert to raster
Move this layer below your main tube layer
With the text still the active layer
Selections, All, Float, Defloat
Selections, Modify, Expand by 2 pixels
Add a new raster layer
Flood fill with a complimenting colour – I used White
Activate the main text again
Selections, All, Float, Defloat
Activate the layer we just filled
Press delete on your keyboard
Selections, none
Working on the outline layer
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H – 1 / Opacity – 60 / Blur – 6 / Colour – Black
On the original text layer
Change the blend mode to Hard Light or one of your choice
Add your artists copyrights and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Save as a jpg/png
