How To Make The Electric Stripe Gradient

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X4 but any version will do

This tutorial was written as mini tutorial for Electric Stripe for those who may not have the Electric Stripe gradient I used in the tutorial.

Let’s Start
Set your foreground to any gradient, then click Edit

On the Gradient Line
Click somewhere along the line to add another tab

Do this twice more so you have 5 tabs altogether (don’t worry about positioning them yet)

Click back on the first tab
The location should 0%

Click the Custom Color box and set this color to #800080

Click the 2nd tab, set the location to 25%
Click the color box again and set the color to #FF00FF

Tab 3, location set to 50%, color set to #6800C0
Tab 4, location set to 75%, color set to #00FFFF
Tab 5, location set to 100%, color set to #0000C0

Your gradient line should now look like this

Working now on the Transparency line
Click to add 3 extra tabs, again position doesn’t matter for now
All 5 of these tabs need be set to white #FFFFFF
The only thing that will change is the location and opacity

Click on Tab 1, set the location to 0% and the opacity to 50

Tab 2, location set to 25%, Opacity set to 100
Tab 3, location set to 50%, Opacity set to 50
Tab 4, location set to 75%, Opacity set to 100
Tab 5, location set to 100%, Opacity set to 50

You should now have something like this

Click Save As and name your gradient Electric Stripe
Click Close
That’s it, all done
Your foreground should now be set to your Electric Stripe gradient
Close this window/tab and carry on with the tut
