Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X3 but this will work in any version
Tube of your choice
Font of your choice
DSB Flux – Blast & Bubbles
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Filters Unlimited 2 – Video
2 Papers & Elements of choice – I used some from Gothiquesque by Creationz by Jo

I used the awesome artwork of Keith Garvey, I purchased this image from MPT, Keith is now licensed through PTE
Please do not use Keith’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 600 x 250, flood fill with White
Rename Background
Grab your preset shape tool, set to ellipse
Line width set to 15
Foreground set to a grey gradient of your choice
Background set to null
Draw an ellipse on your canvas
Make it bigger (tall) than your canvas

When happy, convert to raster
Rename Circle

Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 5: Impact – Bevel
Choose the Pitted Surface, Light

Duplicate your circle layer
On the copy, resize by 85%, all layers unchecked
Hide your Background layer, leaving the circles visible
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible, you can now unhide your background layer
Duplicate again
Rename the Copy of Merged – Circle

Activate the original circle layer
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur, Radius set to 10
Effects, Plugins, DSB Flux – Blast
Direction – Left / Percentage – 10
Repeat but change the direction to right
Rename Blast

Duplicate the blast layer
On the copy
Effects, Plugins, DSB Flux – Bubbles
Bubbles – 75 / Density – 18 / Frequency – 33 / Tune – 50
Rename Bubbles
Duplicate again
Effects, Plugins, Filters Unlimited 2 – Video
Choose Interlace with the default settings

Hide your background and circle layers
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible the other 3 layers
Rename Circle Background

Activate your Background layer
Copy and paste a paper of your choice as a new layer
Rename Paper 1
Copy and paste another paper of your choice as a new layer
Rename Paper 2
Change the blend mode of Paper 2 to overlay
Grab your magic wand with these settings:
Mode – Add (Shift) / Match Mode – RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather – 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias – checked

Activate your circle layer
Click inside the small circle
Selections, Modify, Expand by 5 pixels
Selections, Invert
Activate Paper 1 and press delete on your keyboard
Activate Paper 2
Selections, Promote Selection to layer
Selections, None
Lower the opacity of your promoted layer to 59 ish
Rename Paper 3

Activate your Circle layer
Add any elements of choice to juice up your tag a bit
I used the HeartSprinkle from Jo’s kit
Duplicate your elements
On the original
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur, Rradius set to 3
On the copy
Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise
Random & Monochrome – Checked / Noise – 5%
Hide all layers, except your elements layers
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible
Rename Elements

Unhide all layers

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Rename Xero Tube
Duplicate your tube
Rename the copy Blurred Tube and hide this layer for now
Activate your Xero Tube
Effects, Plugins, Xero – Porcelain

Repeat the Porcelain with the same settings
Unhide and Activate Blurred Tube layer
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 5.5
Change the blend mode of this layer to Soft Light

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer again
Position on the left hand side of your canvas, so you can only see part of the tube
Duplicate and Image Mirror
Hide all layers, except the 2 new tube layers
Layer, Merge, Merge Visible
Rename Blend Tubes
Move this layer BELOW your Paper 3 layer on your layer palette
Change the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy)

Activate your Background layer
Selections, All, Modify, Contract by 5 pixels
Selections, Invert
Activate your top layer on your layer palette
Add a new raster layer, name it Border 1
Flood fill with a dark colour from your image
Selections, None
Add the same noise to this border as you did to your elements before
Add the noise again if you think it needs it

With Border 1 still your active layer
Selections, All, Float, Defloat
Selections, Modify, Contract by 2 pixels
Add a new raster layer, name it Border 2
Flood fill with a light colour from your image
Selections, None
Zoom in to the corners of your image and erase the extra pixels

Activate Border 1 again
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used
V & H – 2 / Opacity – 50 / Blur – 5 / Colour – Black
Repeat but change the V & H to -2 (minus 2)

Grab your text tool as choose a font – I used BronsonGothicJF (pay font sorry)
Set your foreground to null and background to a lightish colour from your image
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name
Use the nodes to stretch it out if needed
Position where happy
When happy with position and size, convert to raster
Selections, All, Float, Defloat
Activate your paper 2 layer
Selections, Promote Selection to Layer
Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top
Selections, None

Move your solid colour text above the promoted selection layer
Change the blend mode to soft light or one of your choice
Activate your promoted layer
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Duplicate the promoted layer
On the original
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 5
Add your artists copyrights and your own taggers watermark
Save as a jpg/png
