Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X2 but this will work in any version
Tube of your choice
Fonts of your choice – I used Beer & CharadeJF
Xero – Radiance
MuRa’s Mesiter – Copies

I used the fabby artwork of Jessica Dougherty
You will need a license from cdo to use her work
Please do not use Jessica’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 500 x 200 or regular forum size if you prefer
Copy and paste your image or tube as a new layer
Effects, Plugins, MuRa’s Meister – Copies
Choose the Wallpaper (rotate) at default settings
Adjust, Blur, Motion Blur
Angle – 90 / Strength – 100
Repeat the Motion Blur five (5) times

Effects, Distortion Effects, Wave
Horizontal displacement: Amplitude – 0 / Wavelength – 100
Vertical displacement: Amplitude – 10 / Wavelength – 100
Edge mode: Wrap

Effects, Edge Effects, Dilate
Repeat the Dilate three (3) times
Effects, Edge Effects, Enhance

Grab your selection tool, with these settings:
Selection Type – Rectangle / Mode – Add (Shift) / Feather – 0 / Anti-Alias – checked
Select part of your image

Selections, Modify, Select Color Range
Tolerance & Softness – 20 / Add color range – checked
Left click inside the selected are to set your colour range
Selections, Modify, Feather by 25 pixels
Selections, Promote Selection to Layer
Selections, None

With your promoted layer active
Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise
Random & Monchrome – Checked / Noise – 15%
Optional – select another area of colour and repeat

If you do this make sure you are on the original layer before Selecting the colour range

Layers, Merge, Merge Visible

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Position on the right so it goes slightly off canvas
Lower the opacity down to about 65
Duplicate your tube layer

On the original change the blend mode to Hard Light
On the copy
Effects, Plugins, Xero – Radiance (default settings)
Then change the blend mode to Overlay

Copy and paste your tube again
Image and Mirror
Position to the left again slightly off canvas
Move it up slightly so it’s not an exact mirror of the other side
Change the blend mode to Screen

Grab your text tool and select a chunky font
Set your foreground to null and your background to a dark colour from your image
Create as vector & Anti-Alias both checked
Add your text and position towards to the bottom of your canvas
I wrote ‘DIAMOND CLUB MEMBER’ all in caps

Using the nodes stretch your text out so it almost fills the width of you canvas
Leave a little space for your border
When happy with the size and placement of your text, convert to raster

Staying on your text layer, duplicate it twice
On the top copy
Selections, All, Float, Defloat
Selections, Modify, Contract by 1 pixel
Selections, Invert
Adjust, Add/Remove Noise – Add Noise
Random & Monochrome – Checked /Noise – 100%
Selections, Invert
Now press delete on your keyboard
Selections, None

Add a sharp drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H – 2 / Opacity – 47 / Blur – 3 / Colour – Dark colour from my image

Activate the original text layer
Selections, All, Float, Defloat
Selections, Modify, Expand by 2 pixel
Flood fill this layer with a dark colour of choice
Selections, None

Change your font to a scripty style font
Keep your foreground on null but change your background to a light colour
Create as vector & Anti-Alias both checked
Add some more text of choice or your name
I added ‘proud to be a’
Position where it looks best and convert to raster
Add the same sharp drop shadow

Add your name too 🙂
Add your artists copyrights and your own taggers watermark as a new layer

Activate the top layer in your layer palette
Add a new raster layer and flood fill with a dark colour of choice
Selections, All, Modify, Contract by 1 pixel
Press delete on your keyboard
Selections, None
Add the same drop shadow you used on your text but change the V&H to 1
Repeat the drop shadow changing the V&H to -1 (minus 1)

Save as a jpg/png
