Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X4 but any version will do
Animation Shop
Tube of Choice
Fonts of Choice – I used PussyCat
Xenofex 2 – Constellation
Mask by Shirley TY for allowing me to share, grab it here (right click and save to your mask folder)
KellyGreen Mini kit by Sarah or kit of choice

I used the awesome artwork of PinUpToons
You will need a license from CDO to use his work
Please do not use Rion’s work without purchasing a license first

Note: When opening any papers or elements from the kit, press shift + D to duplicate and close the original, always work on the copy

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400×250
Flood fill with white
Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Find the SWWFSTagMask
Source luminance, Fit to canvas, Invert and Hide all Mask: all Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Repeat the mask on the white layer

With the white layer active
Selections, All, Float, Defloat
Don’t worry it looks a bit messy
Selections, Modify, Contract by 3 pixels
Selections, Invert
Selections, Promote selection to layer
Selections, None

Move the promoted layer to the top of your layer palette
Add a drop shadow of choice I used
V&H: 0 / Opacity: 80 / Blur: 5 / Color: Black
Hide the original white layer

Image, Canvas Size – increase to 400×400
Central placement selected

Activate your paper layer
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Duplicate your tube
Move the copy to the top of your layer palette
Hide the original for now

Working on the copy
Carefully erase the bottom part of the tube
I drew a selection so you can see the area

Add a drop shadow of choice I used
V: 0 / H: 5 / Opacity: 45 / Blur: 5 / Color: Black

Activate the original tube layer
Again carefully erase the bottom part of the tube

Add a nice big element of choice and position next to your tube
Add the same drop shadow as on your tube

Select your magic wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance: 10 / Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: checked
You may have to adjust the tolerance depending on your element
Select an area of the element
Selections, Promote selection to layer
Selections, None

On the promoted layer
Selections, All, Float, Defloat
Selections, Modify, Contract by 2 pixels
Press delete once on your keyboard
Selections, None

Duplicate your promoted layer twice
On the original
Effects, Plugins, Xenofex 2 – Constellation

Lower the opacity to 70
Rename Sparkles 1

Activate the first copy – Rename Sparkles 2
Repeat the Constellation but press random seed
Lower the opacity to 70
Hide this layer

Activate the top copy – Rename Sparkles 3
Repeat the Constellation but press random seed
Lower the opacity to 70
Hide this layer

Activate the top layer on your layer palette
Select your text tool and choose your font (a chunky font works best)
Set your foreground to a color of choice, background set to null
Stroke: 1.5
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name
Use the nodes to make it bigger/angle it whatever you like
DO NOT CONVERT TO RASTER

Duplicate the vector layer
On the copy, Convert to raster

On the original, click the + sign on your layer palette
Right click on the indented layer (which should say your name)
Select properties
Uncheck Stroke
The fill will now turn on, click the color box
Set this to a color/paper/pattern of choice to compliment your outer text color
Ok and convert to raster

Activate the outer text layer
Add a drop shadow of choice I used
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 65 / Blur: 3 / Color: Black
Layers, Merge, Merge Down

Add a new raster layer
Layers, Arrange, Send to bottom
Flood fill with white
Add any additional elements to make your tag your own
Add a drop shadow to each one I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 65 / Blur: 6 / Color: Black

Add your artist copyrights, scrappers credits (if needed) and your own taggers watermark as a new layer

Crop away any excess canvas
Ensure Sparkles 2 & 3 are both still hidden
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Open up Animation Shop (AS)
Edit, Paste as a new animation

Back to PSP
Hide Sparkles 1 and unhide Sparkles 2
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Over to AS
Edit, Paste after current frame

Back to PSP
Hide Sparkles 2 and unhide Sparkles 3
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Over to AS
Edit, Paste after current frame
Now save as a gif file
All Done 🙂
