Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X4 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Blessed Day
MuRa’s Meister – Copies
Lokas Software – 3D Shadow
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Mask 6 Diana by Diana’s Creations

I used the awesome artwork of Amy Brown
You will need a license from CDO to use her work
Please do not use Amy’s work without purchasing a license first

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400×50
Select your selection tool and choose Custom Selection

With these settings:

Flood fill the selected are with Black
Selections, Invert
Add a new raster layer
Flood fill with a cream color (#F4EFEB)
Keep selected

Effects, 3D Effects, Cutout

Selections, None
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible

Image, Canvas Size
Increase to 400×400
Central placement selected

Effects, Plugins, MuRa’s Meister – Copies
Choose the *Line preset

Duplicate this layer and Image, Flip
Resize both layer by 80% all layers unchecked

Working on the bottom layer
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for Mask 6 Diana or one of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer, Hide all mask – checked
If using the mask by Diana you will also need Invert transparency checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group

Apply the same mask using the same settings to the top layer
Layers, Merge, Merge Group

Activate the bottom layer
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – Radius set to 3
Duplicate this layer
On the copy
Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise
Gaussian & Monochrome: Checked / Noise: 100
Layers, Merge, Merge Down

Activate your top layer and grab your selection tool with these settings:
Selection type: Rectangle / Mode: Add (shift) / Feather: 0 / Anti-Alias: checked
Zoom in and draw a selection round the center rectangle

Making sure you are on the top layer
Selections, Promote selection to layer
Selections, None

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Position so the face is within the center rectangle
The tube I used had 2 tubes so I used both placing one on each side
Activate your promoted layer
Selections, All, Float, Defloat, Invert
Activate your tube layer and press delete on your keyboard once
Selections, None

If you used 2 tubes make sure the top one is active
Layer, Merge, Merge Down

Change the blend mode on your tube to Luminance (legacy)
Lower the opacity to about 75

Copy and paste your full size tube as a new layer
Resize as needed, all layer unchecked
Effects, Plugins, Lokas Software -3D Shadow

Activate the top mask layer
Add a drop shadow I used
V&H: 1 / Opacity: 50 / Blur: 1 / Color: Dark Grey (#111010)

Activate your tube layer which should be your top layer
Select your text tool and choose your font
Foreground set to null, background to a light color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name
Use the nodes round your text to angle/stretch your text – if required
When happy with size and position convert to raster

Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Choose a dark color from your image

Add your artists copyrights and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
