Gothic Heart

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X4 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Brush Tip Std
LD_Sparkle1 Mask from Creative MisfitCreations
Gothic Hearts October Pack by CreationzByJo or one of choice
Note: This collection includes the Tube & Kit

I used the awesome artwork of Zindy
You will need a license from Zindy’s Store to use her work.
Please do not use Zindy’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400×400 and flood fill with white
Open Frame 2 and resize to 300 pixels high
Copy and paste onto your white canvas as a new layer

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Resize if needed – I resized by 65%
Position your tube and move below the frame layer on your layer palette
Select your selection tool with these settings:
Selection type: Rectangle / Mode: Add (shift) / Feather: 0 / Anti-Alias: checked
Draw a selection round the top of your tube

Making sure you are on tube layer
Selections, Promote selection to layer
Selections, None
Move the promoted layer above the frame layer

Select your magic wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: checked
Activate your frame layer and select inside
Selections, Modify, Expand by 3 pixels
Selections, Invert
Activate your lower tube layer and press delete
Selections, None

Activate your white background
Open a paper of choice – I used paper 1
Resize to 400 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for LD_Sparkle1 or one of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and hide all mask
Layers, Merge, Merge Group

Open LoveWords and resize by 30%
Copy and paste as a new layer above your mask layer

Open the Trail and resize by 30%
Copy and paste as a new layer above the LoveWords
Position where you like it
I then duplicated, mirror and flip
I erased parts too
Just play about until your are happy with the trail look

Activate the top layer non your layer palette
Open the Orchidbranch and resize by 30%
Copy and paste as a new layer
Image and Mirror
Select your Pick/Deform tool and move the branch so it sits better against the frame

When happy with the position of the branch
Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen
Add a drop shadow of choice to the banch
V&H: 3 / Opacity: 42 / Blur: 7.92 / Color: Black

Open the Bowhrt and resize by 30%
Copy and paste as a new layer, positioning where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow as you added to your branch

Open a paper of choice and resize to 400 pixels wide
Activate the top trail layer
Copy and paste your paper as a new layer
Activate your frame layer
Select your magic wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Anti-Alias: checked
Click inside your frame
Selections, Modify, Expand by 3 pixels
Selections, Invert
Active the paper layer and press delete on your keyboard
Selections, None

Hide the white background and crop away any excess canvas

Select your text tool and choose a font
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Foreground set to null, Background to a color/paper of choice
Add your name
Place where it looks best and convert to raster
Add the same drop shadow as used before

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits if required and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 🙂
