Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X4 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Dock11 (bold font) & Quickier Demo (script)
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

I used the awesome artwork of Jennifer Janesko
You will need a license from CDO to use her work.
Please do not use Jennifer’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400×400
Select your preset shape tool, set it to ellipse
Set your foreground to null, background to any color
Hold your shift key and draw a circle in the middle of your canvas
Objects, Align, Center in Canvas
Do Not Convert to Raster

Activate Raster 1 (which should be empty)
Drag this layer above your vector circle
Select your text tool and choose a bold font
Foreground set to null, background to any color
Create as vector and Anti-Alias checked
Position your cursor over the edge of the circle till you get either +A) or +T) symbol
Click and add your text I wrote
CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES
Repeat the text so it goes round the circle, you may have to adjust the size of your text

When happy with the text, convert to raster
On the vector circle layer, convert to raster

Back on the text layer
Select your freehand selection tool
Draw a selection round the first words
Note: I added a grey background so you could see the words clearly

Now using your Manual Color Correction tool {mini tut here}
Recolor the selected word to a color from your tube
Selections, None

Draw a selection round the second words
Recolor to another color from your tube
Selections, None

Repeat this until all your words are recolored
Duplicate your text layer
On the Copy, Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – Radius set to 6

Activate the original text layer
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add a drop shadow of choice to this layer I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 80 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black
Repeat the drop shadow but change the V&H to -2

Activate your circle layer
Selections, All, Float, Defloat
Selections, Modify, Expand by 10 pixels
Selections, Modify, Feather by 15

Set your foreground to a darkish color from your tube
Background set to a lighter color
Set your foreground to a fore/back gradient mix
Style: Sunburst / Repeats: 5 / Center Point H: 50 V: 50 / Link center and focal points: checked
Flood fill with your gradient

Selections, None

Duplicate this gradient layer
On the Copy. Adjust,Blur, Gaussian Blur – Radius set to 16

Activate the top layer on your layer palette
Copy and paste your tube of choice as a new layer
Resize if needed – I resized mine by 75%
Position your tube where it looks best
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 5 / Opacity: 72 / Blur: 12.87 / Color: Grey (#202020)
Repeat the shadow with the same settings

Select your selection tool, set to rectangle
Draw a selection round the bottom of your tube

Selections, Promote Selection to layer
On the original tube layer press delete
Selections, None
Drag the promoted layer down below the 2 text layers
Erase any of the tube (on the promoted layer) that is below your text

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Resize by about 40%, then Image, Mirror
Adjust, Brightness & Contrast, Brightness/Contrast
Brightness: -255 / Contrast: 100
Duplicate and on the copy, Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 16
Layers, Merge, Merge Down

Activate the original circle layer
Grab your Magic Wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode; RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Click outside the circle
Selections, Modify, Feather by 15 pixels
Activate your black out tube and press delete on your keyboard a couple of times to soften the edges

Activate the top layer on your layer palette
Select your text tool and choose a font
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name
Position where it looks best, use the nodes to angle/stretch your text if required
When happy, Convert to Raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Use the same settings as before but change the color
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 3 / Opacity: 63 / Blur: 15.84 / Color: Black

Add your artists copyrights and you own taggers watermark as a new layer
Crop away away excess canvas
If you added a colored layer delete that now
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 🙂
