Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X4 but any version will do
Font of Choice – I used 2Peas Aeroplane
Eye Candy 5: Impact – Extrude
Eye Candy 6: Text Selection – Snow Drift
VDL Adrenaline – Snowflakes
Winter Frolic kit by Pimp’d Designz or one of choice

Everything I used on this tag was from the kit. I used no other artwork.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400×400, flood fill with a light grey (#9D9D9D)
Open the CandyCane from the kit
Resize to 300 pixels high
Copy and paste the candy cane as a new layer onto your grey canvas
Image, Free Rotate, Rotate Right 90 degrees
Rename Cane

Open Frame4 and resize to 300 pixels wide
Copy and paste onto your main canvas
Rename Frame
Drag the frame layer below your cane layer on your layer palette
Now move the cane down on your canvas
You want the left end of the cane level with one of the bubbles of the frame
Note: I zoomed in for the screen shot below

Hide your Frame layer for now
Open the Border01 from the kit and resize to 300 pixels wide
Rename Border
Copy and paste onto your main canvas
Make sure its below your Cane layer
Position so there is no gap between the Cane and Border
Erase any Border that is sticking out to the right of the Cane
Note: I drew a selection round the area

Open the penguin from the kit and resize to 200 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer on your main canvas
Move below the border layer on your layer palette
Move the penguin down so he’s behind the border
Ensure none of him sticks out from the Cane at the bottom
Move him over to the left hand side

Activate the Cane layer
Open the Snowman from the kit and resize to 100 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer onto your main canvas
Move him to right hand side just near the bend of the Cane

Unhide your Frame layer
Add the same drop shadow to all the layers I used:
V&H: 0 / Opacity: 61 / Blur: 7 / Color: Black

Now erase any part that is below the Cane at the bottom
I drew a selection round the area

Now activate the Cane layer and erase any cane that is either side of the snowman
Again I drew a selection round it
