Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X4 but any version will do
Photo & Tube of photo
Other Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Comix Loud
VM Extravaganza – Transmission

I used the awesome work (photo, tube of photo and regular tube) of Jamie Kidd
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Jamie’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 600×150, flood fill with a color of choice from your photo – make a note of this color
Copy and paste your photo as a new layer, position on the right hand side of the canvas
Duplicate your photo layer
On the copy, Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 15
Crop you canvas back to 600×150
Still on the copy, Effects, Plugins, VM Extravaganza – Transmission

Change the blend mode to Soft Light or one of choice

Activate your background layer
Apply VM Extravaganza – Transmission using the same settings
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible

Add a new layer above the merged layer, name it Frame
Flood fill with a light color/off white
Grab your selection tool and select Custom Selection

Press delete on your keyboard once

Select your Pick/Deform tool
Drag your canvas out slightly so you can see grey all round it
Place your cursor in the bottom left till you get a 4 headed arrow
Holding down your crtl key, drag the corner in about 50 pixels or so

Now grab your magic wand with these settings:

Repeat the drop shadow changing the V&H to -3

Activate your frame layer
Add the same drop shadow but check the shadow on new layer box
