Spa Day

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X4 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Rags To Riches
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Mask 222 by Cat
Spa Day kit by DesignsBySarah

I used the awesome artwork of Gina King
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO.
Please do not use Gina’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400×400 and flood fill with white
Open Frame 2 from the kit and resize to 300 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame
With your selection tool and these settings:
Selection type: Rectangle / Mode: Add (Shift) / Feather: 0 / Anti-Alias: Checked
Draw a selection round the frame

Add a new raster layer – named Frame Back
Move this layer below the Frame
Open a paper of choice – I used paper 3
Copy and paste into the selection
Selections, None

Activate the Frame layer
Open Greenery 1 from the kit and resize to 300 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer
Position along the top of the frame
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 0 / H: 2 / Opacity: 62 / Blur: 2.97 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open Greenery 2 from the kit and resize to 300 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer
Image, Mirror, then Image, Flip
Position along the bottom of the frame
Add the same drop shadow as used on greenery 1

Open the Stones and resize to 25%
Copy and paste as new layer
Position on the bottom left of the frame
Now erase any of the bottom greenery that is sticking out the side of the stones

Activate Frame Back
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Position within the frame

Activate Frame back
Selections, All, Float, Defloat, Invert
Activate your tube layer and press delete
Selections, None

Duplicate your tube layer
On the original, change the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy) Lower the opacity to about 65
On the copy, change the blend mode to Soft Light

Activate the Frame
Add a drop shadow of choice I used:
V: 0 / H: 4 / Opacity: 62 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Activate white background layer
Open a paper of choice – I used paper 11
Resize the paper to 325 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for 222InsatiableDreams or mask of choice
Source Luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all Mask checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Duplicate your mask layer
On the copy, Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Duplicate again, Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Reposition your mask if required

Select your text tool and choose a font
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name – position where it looks best
Use the nodes to stretch/angle your text if required
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 0 / H: 4 / Opacity: 62 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits (if required) and your own taggers watermark
Delete the white background and crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 🙂

Here is another sample using the sexy art of Anthony Guerra, unfortunately Anthony is no longer selling tubes.
I didn’t duplicate the tube on this sample, I just left one tube set to Luminance (legacy) with the opacity at 100.
The font used on this one is Cheddar Jack
