Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X7 but any version will do
Tube & Close Up of Choice
Fonts of Choice – I used Fido and Ibleum
Eye Candy 5: Impact – Extrude
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
2 Textures of choice – I used ones by Sanami276

I used the awesome artwork of Ted Hamond
You can purchase his work and a license from CDO.
Please do not use Ted’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400 x 400 and flood fill with white
Select your preset shape tool with these settings:
Shape: Rectangle / Anti-Alias & Create as Vector: Checked / Line style: Solid / Width: 10
Set your foreground color to black and your background color to null
Draw a rectangle on your canvas about 150×275
Objects, Align, Center in Canvas
Then convert to raster

Select your Pick/Deform tool
Holding down your shift key, drag the top right corner down slightly
tp-01
Hold your shift key again and drag the bottom right corner in
tp-02
Activate your white background layer
Copy and paste one of your textures as a new layer

Copy and paste your close up tube above the texture
Position so face is within the frame
Duplicate your tube
On the original, change the blend mode to Overlay
On the copy, Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 8
Change the blend mode to Overlay

Copy and paste your second texture as a new layer
Change the blend mode to Hard Light and reduce to opacity to 67

Select your magic wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (Shift) . Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Activate the frame layer and select inside
Selections, Modify, Expand by 3 pixels
Selections, Invert
Press delete on both your texture and tube layers
Selections, None

Activate the bottom tube and duplicate
Move this above the top texture
Change the blend mode to Soft Light

Activate your frame layer – which should be the top layer on your layer palette
Select your text tool and choose a bold/chunky font
Set your foreground to black and your background to null
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Stroke width set to 2
Add your text of choice – I wrote ‘PRINCESS’ all in caps
Image, Free Rotate, 90 degrees to the left
Stretch your text so it’s the same size as your frame
tp-03
Convert to raster
Grab your magic wand again, same settings as before
Select inside each letter
Selections, Modify, Expand by 2 pixels
Copy and paste one of your textures as a new layer
At this point I used my Change To Target brush to change the color of the texture
Copy and paste your tube over the texture
Position so it sits nicely within the letters
Change the blend mode to Luminance (legacy) on your tube
Selections, Invert, press delete on both the tube and texture layers
Selections, None

Move the texture and tube layers below the text outline
Keep the tube above the texture, but below the text outline
Activate the text outline, Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Repeat this again so your text/tube/texture are all on one layer – not the textures/tubes below your frame

Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 5: Impact – Extrude
Use a Highlight Color that compliments your tag
tp-04
Duplicate this layer
On the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 8
Change the blend mode to Screen

Select another font
Change your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both still checked
Add your name – position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
tp-05
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 3 / Opacity: 60 / Blur: 11.88 / Color: #FEF9EE / Shadow on new layer: unchecked
Activate the frame layer and add the same drop shadow but set to the color to Black

Add your artists copyrights and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Delete the white background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 🙂
