Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X7 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Fonts of Choice – I used Cursiva and Vintage Fair
ICNet – Filters Unlimited – Paper Textures
AAA Frames – Texture Frame
Vintage Paris kit by MellieBeans or kit of choice

I used the awesome artwork of Jennifer Janesko
I purchased this when Jennifer was with CILM, you can now buy her tubes from CDO
Please do not use Jennifer’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 851 x 315
Open Paper 6 and copy and paste as a new layer – rename Bottom Paper
Position on one side of the canvas
Using your Pick/Deform tool stretch the paper to cover the full width of the canvas
Repeat this step but with Paper 1 – rename Top Paper
Change the blend mode of the top paper to Hard Light and lower the opacity to 60

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube 1
Change the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy)
Duplicate the tube layer
On the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 10
Change the blend mode of the copy to Overlay

Open E32 and copy and paste as a new layer
Image, Mirror
Position on the left hand side, move it down so the flowers are in view
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 2 / H: 7 / Opacity: 30 / Blur: 5.74 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Duplicate and apply the same Gaussian Blur
Change the blend mode of the copy to Overlay

Open E05 and copy and paste as a new layer
Position on the right side overlapping your tube
Duplicate and change the blend mode of the copy to Overlay

Open E44 and copy and paste as a new layer
Position towards the bottom of your tube

Activate Top Paper and move to the top of your layer palette – Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Edit, Paste as a new layer
On the new top layer, apply the same Gaussian Blur as used before
Change the blend mode to Overlay and lower the opacity to 63
Effects, Plugins, IC Net Software, Filters Unlimited – Paper Textures
Choose a texture – I used Striped Paper, Coarse with the default settings

Remain on this layer
Crop canvas back to 851 x 315 – to get rid of anything hiding off canvas
Effects, Plugins, AAA Frames – Texture Frame
vp-01
Repeat the Texture Frame again using the same settings

Now apply the same Texture Frame, with the same settings to each layer
You only need to apply it once to all the other layers

Select your text tool and choose a font
Set your foreground to a color or paper of choice – I used paper 8
Background set to null
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Stroke width set to 1
Add your text – I wrote ‘VINATGE’ (in caps)
Position where best, use the nodes to stretch if needed
Convert to raster
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 70 / Blur: 1.00 / Color: #BD332E / Shadow on new layer: Checked

Activate your text layer again
Grab your magic wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (Shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Select inside each letter
Selections, Modify, Expand by 1 pixel
Activate your Bottom Paper layer and promote selection to layer
Selections, None
Move the promoted layer below your shadow layer
Change the blend mode to Multiply

Select your text tool again and choose a scripty font
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add some more text I wrote – ‘paris’ (in lower case)
Position where best, use the nodes to stretch if needed
When happy, Convert to raster
Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel
vp-02
Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise
Gaussian & Monochrome: Checked / Noise: 30%
Duplicate this layer, on the copy – Apply the same Gaussian Blur as previously used
Change the blend mode to Overlay
On the original text layer, reduce to opacity to 69

Repeat this above step to add your name
Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 🙂
