A Mess

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X7 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Queen Of The Moon Light
MuRa’s Meister – Copies
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
MB & SW Timeline Mask 5 and MB & SW Timline Mask 9 both by Staci

I used the awesome artwork of Dave Nestler
You can purchase his work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Dave’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 851 x 315 and flood fill with black
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Effects, Plugins, MuRa’s Meister – Copies
Choose the Wallpaper Roate, at default settings
Rename Copies 1

Copy and paste your tube again as a new layer
Repeat the MuRa’s Mesiter Copies using the same settings
You should get a different pattern this time
Rename Copies 2

Selections, All, Clip to Canvas
Image, Crop to Selection
Selections, None

Activate Copies 1
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for MB & SW Timeline Mask 9 or timeline mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all Mask checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Rename Bottom Mask
Change the blend mode to Luminance (legacy)

Activate Copies 2
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for MB & SW Timeline Mask 5 or timeline mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all Mask checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Rename Middle Mask
Change the blend mode to Screen
Reduce the opacity to about 57

Add a new raster layer and flood fill with a light creamish color – I used #E3E0DC
Load MB & SW Timeline Mask 5
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Rename Top Mask
Change the blend mode to Overlay

Copy and paste your tube as new layer – rename Tube
Position on the right
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: -2 / H: 13 / Opacity: 50 / Blur: 12.87 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Move below the Top Mask layer

Activate Top Mask and duplicate
Change the blend mode of the copy to Screen
Reduce the opacity to 48

Add a new raster layer and flood fill with your light color
Selections, All, Modify, Contract by 6 pixels
Press delete
Selections, None

Add a new raster layer and flood fill with Black
Selections, All, Modify, Contract by 5 pixels
Press delete
Selections, None
Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise
Gaussian & Monochrome: Checked / Noise: 76%
Add noise again, but check Random instead of Gaussian, other settings the same
Layers, Merge, Merge Down

Add another new raster layer and flood fill with your light color
Selections, All, Modify, Contract by 1 pixels
Press delete
Selections, None
Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Rename Bottom Frame

Add a drop shadow of choice –  I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 50 / Blur: 5.74 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Repeat the drop shadow but change the V&H to -2 (minus 2)

Duplicate and rename the copy – Top Frame
Activate the Bottom Frame layer
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 5

Activate Top Frame
Select your text tool and choose a font
Set your foreground to null, background to the light color
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name
Use the nodes to stretch out if required
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
am-01
Lower the opacity of this layer to 55

Duplicate your text layer
On the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 6
Change the blend mode to Hard Light

Add your artists copyrights, remember Facebook TOU state NO URL’s and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Save as a jpg/png
