Music & Flowers

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X8 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Always Forever
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Mask452 by Vix
Cluster Pack 3 by Montis Scraps

I used the awesome artwork of Anna Liwanag
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Anna’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open Frame 2 from the cluster pack
Press shift + D to duplicate and close the original for another day
Resize to 350 pixels wide, all layers checked
Image, Increase Canvas Size to 400 x 400, central placement checked

Add a new raster layer and flood fill with grey #929292
Layers, Arrange, Send to Bottom
Rename BG

Delete the following layer – Leaves-Pink, Tulips. Bow and Flower-Cream1
Time to re-jig the remaining layers
Hide all layers for now – Layers, View, View None

Unhide your BG layer
Unhide Leaves-Cream, ad a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 2 / H: 3 / Opacity: 50 / Blur: 5.94 / Color: #0F0F0F / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Unhide the Stool and apply the same drop shadow

Unhide Suitcases and move them across in front of the stool
Add the same drop shadow
Move in slightly
Unhide the Violin and positon in front of the suitcases
Move above the suitcase layer on your layer palette
Add the same drop shadow

Unhide the Butterfly and apply the same drop shadow
Move down so it’s just above the stool
Unhide the Cushion and add the same drop shadow
Move across so it’s in front of the Violin
Unhide Flower-Cream and add the same drop shadow
Move up a little so it’s in front of the legs of the stool
Unhide Flower-Pink and add the same drop shadow
Move across so it’s next to the Flower-Cream layer

Unhide Frame and resize to 75%, all layers unchecked
Move down and across towards the cluster
Unhide Buds-Cream and Image, Mirror
Add the same drop shadow
Position so the top is round the top of the Frame
Activate the BG layer
Open the paper from the cluster pack
Copy and paste as a new layer
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for Vix_Mask452 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to canvas and Hide all mask
Layers, Merge, Merge Group – rename Mask
Resize by 90%, all layers unchecked

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Position so the face is within the Frame
Duplicate your tube and working on the copy
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 10
Change the blend mode to Overlay
On the original Tube layer, change the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy)

Activate your mask layer and duplicate it
Move the copy above Copy of Tube
Change the blend mode to Hard Light
Reduce the opacity to about 50

Activate Frame layer
Select your Magic Wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Select inside the Frame
Selections, Modify, Expand by 5 pixels
Selections, Invert
Press delete on both Tube, Copy of Tube and Copy of Mask layers
Selections, None

Activate the top layer on your layer palette
Select your text tool and choose a font
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name, position where it looks best
Use the nodes to angle/stretch your text if required
When happy, Convert to raster

Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Apply the same drop shadow as previously used

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Delete the BG layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 🙂
