Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X8 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Pin-Up One
MuRa’s Meister – Copies
Distort – Shear
Photo Effex – Scanline
AAA Frames – Foto Frame
Eye Candy 3.1 – Glass
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
TriangleShape made by Me or you can make your own (explained in the tut)

I used the awesome artwork of Cuddly Rigor Mortis
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Kristin’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill with white
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer (I used the cupcake)
Effects, Plugins, MuRa’s Meister – Copies
Use the Wall Paper (rotate) at default settings – rename Copies
It doesn’t matter if it doesn’t fill the canvas
I added a green layer so you can see my canvas isn’t totally covered
On your Copies layer – Adjust, Blur, Motion Blur
Angle: 0 / Strength: 100
Repeat the Motion Blur with the same settings

Effects, Edge Effect, Dilate
Repeat the Dilate
Effect, Edge Effects, Enhance
Effects, Plugins, Distort – Shear
Duplicate and on the copy – Image, Free Rotate, 90 Degrees to the left
Change the blend mode to Overlay
Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Rename Background

Select your selection tool and choose Custom Selection
Image, Crop to Selection
Selections, None

If using the Triangles I provided:
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Tri
Continue from after the Red color text

Select your preset shape tool and select Diamond 2
Set your foreground to Black, background set to null
Draw a Diamond, Drag it out so only the top part of the Diamond in on the canvas
Position on the left edge
Convert to raster – rename Tri 1
Crop your canvas to 600 x 200 – this will get rid of any excess Diamond that is ‘off canvas’

Duplicate Tri 1 and rename Tri 2
Image, Flip
Objects, Align, Center in Canvas
**note** if the version of PSP doesn’t allow you to align center
After the Flip, copy and paste as a new layer this will centralise it

Activate Tri 1 again
Duplicate and rename Tri 3
Image, Mirror

Hide your Background and white layers
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible the 3 Tri layers
Rename Tri

Select your Magic Wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Make sure Tri is the active layer
Select inside the 2 end and 2 middle sections
Activate your Background layer and Selections, Promote Selection to layer
Selections, None
Working on the Promoted layer – rename BG 2
Effects, Plugins, Photo Effex – Scanlines with these settings
Change the blend mode to Overlay

With BG 2 the active layer
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Position within the bottom selection
Duplicate and position on the other side
Layers, Merge, Merge Down – rename Back Tube

Duplicate Back Tube
On the copy, Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 10
Change the blend mode to Overlay
On the original layer, change the blend mode to Luminance (legacy)
Activate the copy – Layers, Merge, Merge Down

Activate Tri and select your magic wand (same settings)
Select inside the two sections where your tube is
Selections, Modify, Expand by 2 pixels
Selections, Invert, Activate Tube layer and press delete
Selections, None

Activate Tri layer and duplicate
On the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 6

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Top Tube
Resize if needed – I resized by 65%
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 2 / H: 5 / Opacity: 79 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Crop your canvas again to 600 x 200
Hide Top Tube
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Edit, Paste as a new layer – Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top
Effects, Plugins, AAA Frames – Foto Frame
Selections, All, Modify, Contract by 11 pixels
Press delete, Selections, None
Adjust, Hue & Saturation, Colorize:
Hue: 147 / Saturation: 0

Move Top Tube to the top of the layer palette
Add a new raster layer above Top Tube
Flood fill with Black
Selections, All, Modify, Contract by 1 pixel and press delete
Selections, None

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Pin-Up One
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice from your tube
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
Use the nodes to stretch/angle if required
When happy, Convert to raster
Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 3.1 – Glass
Duplicate your text layer, working on the original
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise
Random & Monochrome: Checked / Noise: 75
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 2 / H: 4 / Opacity: 40 / Blur: 7.50 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Add your artists copyrights and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 😀
