Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X8 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Fontsof Choice – I used Rock Out
SIS_Mask 38 by Scrap It Studio
Toadies – What Are You?…
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

I used the awesome artwork of Karen Middleton
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Karen’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400 x 400 and flood fill with white
Set your foreground and background to the same color from your tube
Add a new raster layer and flood fill
Resize this layer by 85%, all layers unchecked
Layers, Load/Mask Disk, Load Mask from Disk
Look for SIS_Mask_38 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group

Resize again by 85%, all layers unchecked
Duplicate and on the original
Effects, Plugins, Toadies, What Are You?…
Both values set to 20
On the copy, change the blend mode to Multiply

Select your preset shape tool, set to rectangle
Set your foreground to black and your background to null
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Line/Stroke width set to 15
Draw a square in the middle of your mask

Convert to raster and rename Frame
Duplicate and on the copy
Apply the Toadies – What Are You?… but change the values to 15
Move the copy below the Frame layer – rename Toadies Frame
Change the blend mode to Hard Light

On the Frame layer
Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise
Random & Monochrome: Checked / Noise: 15%
Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel

Duplicate Frame again
On Copy of Frame
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add noise again but set the noise to 50%
Rename Noise Frame and move below Toasies Frame on your layer palette

Activate Frame
Apply a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 3 / Opacity: 36 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Checked
Add the drop shadow again but change the V&H to -3 (minus 3)
On the top shadow layer – Layers, Merge, Merge Down

Activate your Frame
Select your magic wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Select inside the Frame
Selections, Modify, Expand by 5 pixels
Press delete on both Toadies Frame and Noise Frame
Selections, Invert
Press delete on the shadow layer
Selections, None

Activate your mask layer
Image, Free Rotate, 25 degrees to the left
Repeat the same rotate on the copy of mask layer

Activate your Noise Frame
Image, Free Rotate, 25 degrees to the right
Repeat on all the mask layers

Activate Noise Frame
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Base Tube
Position inside the frame
Duplicate your tube
On Base Tube layer, change the blend mode to Screen
Reduce the opacity to 71

On your Copy of Base Tube – rename Top Tube
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 10
Change the blend mode to Overlay
Activate your Frame layer and grab your magic wand (same settings as before)
Select outside the frame
Selections, Modify, Expand by 5 pixels
Press delete on both tube layers
Selections, None

Delete the white background layer
Crop away all exess canvas
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Edit, Paste as a new layer – Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top
Increase the canvas size to 400 x 400, central placement selected
Apply the same gaussian blur as used before
Change the blend mode to Screen and reduce the opacity to 63

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Rock Out
Set your foreground to null, background to the color of your mask layer
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name
Image, Free Rotate, Right 25 degrees
Use the nodes to stretch your text if needed
When happy, Convert to Raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add a drop shadow of choice
I used the same as as on the frame (V&H: 3) but with shadow on new layer unchecked

Add your artists copyrights and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
