Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
IB-AlenaLazareva-July-2016-bt by Gimptastic Scraps

I used the awesome artwork of Elias Chatzoudis
You can purchase his work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Elias’ work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400 x 400 and flood fill with grey #6D6D6D
Open Element 6 and resize to 350 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Splash

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if required – I resized by 65%, all layers unchecked
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 50 / Blur: 3.96 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Position on one side of the splash

Open Element 9 and resize to 300 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Leaf
Move down below the Tube layer
Position where it looks best
Duplicate the Leaf and on the copy
Image, Free Rotate, 90 Degrees to the right or left depending on tube placement
This is what I have now
m-01
Apply the same drop shadow to both Leaf and Copy of Leaf layers as used on your tube

Open Element 5 and resize to 100 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower 1
Move above the tube layer
Add the same drop shadow as used previously
Use to partially cover the base of your tube
m-02
Open Element 21 and resize to 100 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower 2
Add the same drop shadow as used previously
Position overlapping Flower 1 so it covers the rest of the tube
m-03
Activate Flower 1
Open Element 17 and resize to 100 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Bottle 1
Add the same drop shadow
Position where it looks best behind the flowers

Activate Flowers 2
Open Element 1 and resize to 100 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Bottle 2
Position where it looks best in front of the flowers
Apply the same drop shadow

Activate the Splash layer
Open Element 12 and resize to 350 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Glitter
Image, Mirror
Position so it’s coming from behind tube over the Splash
m-04
Duplicate the Glitter three (3) times so you have 4 layers
Rename Glitter 1, Glitter 2 and Glitter 3
Activate the original Glitter layer
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 5

Activate Glitter 1
Effects, Plugins, DSB Flux – Bright Noise
Intensity: 35 / Mix: Click Once
Apply the same drop shadow
Lower the opacity to 75

Activate Glitter 2
Apply the same noise, clicking Mix once
Apply the same drop shadow
Lower the opacity to 75
Hide this layer

Activate Glitter 3
Apply the same noise, clicking Mix once
Apply the same drop shadow
Lower the opacity to 75
Hide this layer

Duplicate Splash
Move the copy of splash above the top glitter layer
Change the blend mode to Soft Light
Erase any excess below the flower layers from the 4 Glitter layers, Tube, Leaf, Copy of Leaf, Splash and Copy of Splash layers
I also erased a few bits of the glitter layers from the top

Activate the Splash layer
Add the same drop shadow BUT change the V & H to 0
Also change the color to a dark pink #CA3A5F
Activate your grey background and refill with white

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Amullhed
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugin, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
m-05
Add the same drop shadow as used on the Splash BUT change the V & H to 3

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Hide the white background
Crop away any excess canvas
At this point you can save as a jpg/png

To Animate
Unhide the white background
Ensure Glitter 2 and Glitter 3 are both hidden
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Open Animation Shop (AS)
Edit, Paste as a new animation

Back to PSP
Hide Glitter 1 and unhide Glitter 2
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Over to AS
Edit, Paste after current Frame

Back to PSP
Hide Glitter 2 and unhide Glitter 3
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
