Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X8 but any version will do
Animation Shop
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used King Basil
Eye Candy 3.1 – Glass
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
RR_MaskSet67_Mask2 by Rachel
Lady Vampire 02 Animation by Simone
Think Pink (Remastered) kit by Carita Creationz

I used the awesome artwork of Suzanne Woolcott
Suzanne has now sadly retired from selling tubes
Please do not use Suzanne’s work unless you have a license to do so.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400 x 400 and flood fill with white
Open 16 and resize to 250 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame
Image, Free Rotate, 45 degrees to the left

Activate the white background layer
Open 39, copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame Back
Select your magic wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Activate the Frame layer and click outside
Selections, Modify, Expand by 5 pixels
Activate Frame Back and press delete
Selections, None
Reduce the opacity to about 63

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I left mine as is
Position so the face is inside the frame
Duplicate your Tube
On the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 5
Change the blend mode to Overlay

Activate Frame Back and click outside with your magic wand (same settings as before)
Press delete on both Tube and Copy of Tube layer
Selections, None

Open 1 and resize to 250 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Net
Position on the right side of the frame
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 55 / Blur: 1 / Color: #404040 / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open 40 and resize to 250 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flowers
Position along the top of the frame
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 40 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open 38 and resize to 200 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Ribbon
Position along the top over the Flowers
Apply the same drop shadow as used on Flowers

Open 41 and resize to 250 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Feather
Position coming down the left side of the frame
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 55 / Blur: 11.88 / Color: #404040 / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Move down below the Ribbon layer

Open 4 and resize to 250 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Bow
Position on the right side of the frame
Apply the same drop shadow as used on the Flowers

Open 44 and resize to 250 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flowers 2
Image, Mirror
Position on the right side so it follows the curve of the tag
Move below the bow layer
Erase any of the stem that you can see past the bow
Add the same drop shadow as used on the Bow

Activate the white background layer
Open pp2 and resize to 400 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for RR_MaskSet67_Mask2 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group – rename Mask

Duplicate your Mask twice
On the middle layer, change the blend mode to multiply
Rename Mask 2
Move the top copy above the Copy of Tube layer
Change the blend mode to Overlay
Reduce the opacity to 75
Rename Mask 3
Activate Frame Back and click outside with your magic wand (same settings are earlier)
Activate Mask 3 and press delete
Selections, None

Activate Bow which should be the top layer
Select your text tool and choose a font – I used King Basil
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name, position where it looks best
Convert to raster
Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel
tp-01
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 3.1 – Glass
tp-02
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
tp-03
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 68 / Blur: 11.88 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Hide the white background
Crop away any excess canvas
At this point you can save as a jpg/png

To Animate
Hide all layers EXCEPT Frame Back, Tube, Copy of Tube and Mask 3
Edit. Copy Special, Copy Merged
Over to Animation Shop (AS)
Edit, Paste as a new animation

Staying in AS
Open your animation of choice
Make a note of how many frames it has
Duplicate your tag so it has the same amount of frames as the animation
Mine has 16
On your tag – Edit, Select All
On your animation – Edit, Select All, Edit Copy
Over to your tag, Edit, Paste into Selected Frame
You can close the animation now

Back to PSP
Hide all visible layer – Layers, View, None
Now Unhide Mask 2, Mask 1 and the white background layer
Activate Frame Back, Select, All, Float, Defloat
Press delete on Mask 2, Mask 1 and the white background layer
Selections, None
Hide Frame Back again
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Over to AS
Paste as a new animation

Edit, Copy (even though it’s still in the memory – re-copy it)
Over to your tag
Edit, Propagate Paste
Edit, Paste into Selected Frame (they should all still be selected)

Back to PSP again
Hide all visible layers (again) – Layers, View, None
Unhide ALL layers from the Frame upwards – Including the Frame
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Over to AS
Paste as a new animation

Edit, Copy (even though it’s still in the memory – re-copy it)
Over to your tag
Edit, Propagate Paste
Edit, Paste into Selected Frame (they should all still be selected)
Save as a gif file 😀
