Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X8 but any version will do
Tube & Close Up of Choice
Fonts of Choice – I used Cookies&Milk and Illusias
Xero – Porcelain, Radiance and Serious Fog
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

I used the awesome artwork of Nicole Brune
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Nicole’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 550 x 200 pixels and flood fill with white
Copy and paste your close up as a new layer – rename Close Up
Choose two colors from your close up – I used #DB484E and #A000E1
Make a note of these colors you will need them later
Set your foreground to a fore/back gradient mix
Style: Linear / Angle: 90 / Repeats: 1
Add a new raster layer – name it BG
Flood fill with your gradient
Move this below the Close Up layer

Activate the Close Up layer
Effects, Plugins, Xero – Porcelain
Use the default settings
Change the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy)

Duplicate the Close Up and working on the copy
Effects, Plugins, Xero – Radiance
Use the default settings
Change the blend mode to Soft Light

Duplicate the Copy of Close Up and working on the top copy
Effects, Plugins, Xero – Serious Fog
Use the default settings
Change the blend mode to Screen
Lower the opacity to about 57

Activate the original Close Up layer
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 2 / H: 10 / Opacity: 60 / Blur: 7.92 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Activate the top copy
Copy and paste your main tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Position slightly overlapping the close up

Duplicate your Tube
Working on the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 10
Change the blend mode to Overlay
On the original, add the same drop shadow as used before

Copy and paste your main tube again as a new layer – rename Tube 2
Position part of it on the opposite side to your main tube
Erase any tube you don’t want
I just used the tail and mirrored it
tdmmdi-02
Change the blend mode Luminance (Legacy)
Apply the same drop shadow

Select your preset shape tool with these settings:
Shape: Rounded Rectangle / Anti-Alias & Create as Vector: Checked / Line style: Solid
Set your foreground to null, Background set to white
Draw a rectangle the full width of your canvas
Height is up to you
Position along the bottom but leave some space
tdmmdi-03
Convert to raster and rename Rectangle
Effects, Plugins, Xero – Porcelain
Use the default settings
Change the blend mode to Soft Light

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Cookies&Milk
Set your foreground to null, background to black
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Type out your text, you want it to fit within the rectangle
I repeated my text so it almost filled the width
When happy, convert to raster and rename Text

Using your selection tool with these settings:
Selection type: Rectangle / Mode: Add (Shift) / Feather: 0 / Anti-Alias: Checked
Select the word/s you want a different color
tdmmdi-04

Rename Text

Still with your text tool, choose another font – I used Illusias
Set your foreground and background to the colors you used at the start BUT switch them round
Set both your foreground and background to the fore/back gradient mix with the same settings as before
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both still checked
Stroke width set to 1
Add your name
Position where it looks best and convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Choose the Black Halo preset then change the colors to suit your tag
tdmmdi-05
