Dark Vision

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X8 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Fonts of Choice – I used Coalition, Anglia Script Enhancement and Intima Script One
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
WSL_Mask423 by Chelle
IB-AnnaMarine-Oct2016-bt by Foxys Designz

I used the awesome artwork of JM Leotti
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Janice’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400 x 400 and flood fill with white
Open a paper of choice – I used paper 7
Resize to 400 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for WSL_Mask423 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to canvas and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize by 85%, all layers unchecked

Open Element3 and reszie to 325 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Red Rose
Position towards the bottom of the mask

Open Element14 and resize to 300 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Ribbon
Position over the Red Rose layer
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 65 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open Element2 and resize to 150 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename White Rose
Position over the bottom loop of the ribbon
Add the same drop shadow

Activate the Red Rose layer
Select the Change To Target brush with these settings:
Shape: Circle / Size: 47 / Hardness, Density, Thickness and Opacity: 100 / Step: 10 / Roatation: 0 / Mode: Color
Set your foreground to black
Paint over the flowers to the right of the first loop on the ribbon

Add the same drop shadow to this layer

Activate the mask layer
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Position so the face is within the masked area
Apply the same mask as used before with the same settings
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize by 85%, all layers unchecked
Change the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy)
Reduce the opacity to 89

Duplicate and working on the copy
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 4
Change the blend mode to Overlay
Lave the Opacity at 89

Select your text tool and choose a bold type font – I used Coalition
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your text of choice – I wrote ‘DARK’
Position along the top of your tag or where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 2 / H: 0 / Opacity: 65 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Change the blend mode to multiply

Keep your text tool active and choose script style font – I used Anglia Script Enhancement
Keep the settings the same BUT change the background color
Add the rest of your text, I wrote ‘visions’
Position slightly overlapping the previous text and convert to raster

Keeping your text tool active, choose another font – I used Intima Script One
Keep your settings the same BUT again change the background color if needed
Add your name and position where it looks best
Convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Delete the white background layer
Crop away all execss canvas

Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Paste as a new layer – rename Blur
Layers, Arrange, Send to Top (if not alreday there)
Increase canvas size to 400 x 400, central placement selected
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 7
Change the blend mode to Overlay
Reduce the opacity to 69
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 😀
