Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X8 but any version will do
Animation Shop
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Scallion
Xero – Porcelain
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Animation of Choice – I used White Spin by Simone

I used the awesome artwork of Jennifer Janesko
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Jennifer’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 550 x 200 and flood fill with white
Copy and paste your image or tube as a new layer
Position so the middle part is within the canvas area

Rename Middle

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Left
Position on the left side
Move up so more of the bottom part is viewable

Copy and paste your tube again as a new layer – rename Right
Position on the right side with the face in view
mc-03
Activate Middle and change the blend mode to Luminance (legacy)
Activate Left and change the blend mode to Luminance (legacy)
Activate Right and duplicate it
Working on the copy
Effects, Plugins, Xero – Porcelain
Use the default settings
Reduce the opacity to 75

Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Edit, Paste as a new layer – rename Blur
Move below the Copy of Right
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 10
Reduce the opacity to 60

Image, Decrease Color Depth – 2 Colors

Edit, Copy then undo
Edit, Paste as a new layer – rename Color Depth
Position over the Blur layer and change the blend mode to Soft Light
Reduce the opacity to 35

Activate Right and duplicate
Rename the Copy – Left Right
Image, Mirror
Change the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy)
Reduce the opacity to 80
Move below the original Right layer

Add a new raster layer – name it Frame
Move to the top of the layer palette – Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top
Flood fill with black
Selections, All, Modify, Contract by 1 pixel
Press delete
Selections, None

Hide the Frame and Copy of Right
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Over to Animation Shop (AS)
Edit, Paste as a new animation
Open your Animation of choice
Check how many frames your animation has
Duplicate your image so it has the same number of frames

On the animation – Edit, Select All, Edit, Copy
Over to the image – Edit, Select All, Edit, Paste into Current Frame
Back to PSP

Layers, View, View All
Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Scallion
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel

Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 52 / Blur: 1.98 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Add your artists copyrights and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
At this point you can save as jpg/png

To Animate
Hide all layers except the Copy of Right, Frame, Name and Credits
Edit, Copy Special
Over to AS
Edit, Paste as a new animation
Edit, Copy
On your main image, Edit, Select All, Edit, Paste into current Frame
If needed – Animation, Frame Properties – set this to 20
Save as a gif file
All Done 😀
