Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X8 but any version will do
Animation Shop
Tube of Choice
Fonts of Choice – I used KG Second Chance Solid, Janda Elegant Handwriting, FFF Galaxy and Janda Truly Madly Deeply
MPM_Mask95 by Millie
Penta.com – Dot & Cross

I used the awesome artwork of Ash Evans
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Ash’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400 x 400 and flood fill with white
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized by 55%, all layers unchecked
Duplicate the tube
On the original – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 6
On the copy, reduce the opacity to 75

Select your preset shape tool with these settings:
Shape: Rectangle / Anti-Alias & Create as Vector: Checked / Line style: Solid / Width: 6
Set your foreground to a color of choice, Background set to null
Draw a square in the middle of your canvas
Image, Free Rotate, Left 45 degrees
Objects, Align, Center in Canvas and Convert to Raster
Move this below the two tube layer
Rename Square

Activate the white background layer
Add a new raster layer and flood fill with a color of choice
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for MPM_Mask95 or one of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Resize to 87%, all layers unchecked

Duplicate the mask layer
On the original, apply the same Gaussian Blur
