Raindrops

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Wallaby
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
MaskSet134_Mask4 by Rachel
Just Ducky Mini Kit by Hungry Hill

I used the awesome but sadly retired artwork of Suzanne Woolcott
Please do not use Suzanne’s work unless you have an existing license.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas and flood fill with grey #AAAAAA
Open Tag Back and resize to 275 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer
Rename Back

Open Tree 1 and resize to 175 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Tree
Position so the leafy part of the tree covers the left side of the Back

Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 4 / Opacity: 50 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Erase any trunk from below the Back

Open Greenery 1 and resize to 175 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Greenery
Position over the Tree
Add the same drop shadow

Open Puddle and resize to 300 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Puddle
Position along the base of the Back

Open the Grass and resize to 300 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Grass
Position along the base of the of the puddle

Duplicate the Grass, on the copy – Layers, Merge, Merge
Rename Grass again if needed
Erase any of the Puddle that is below the Grass layer

Open Paper Boat and resize to 125 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Boat
Position on the puddle and move below the Grass layer
Add the same drop shadow

Activate the Grass layer
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Resize if needed, I resized to 75%, all layers unchecked
Position where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow as used before

Open Cloud and resize to 300 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Cloud
Position where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow BUT change the Opacity to 25

Activate Back and erase the frame you can see
I selected the area to be deleted

Delete the Grey Background layer
Crop away all excess canvas
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Image, Increase Canvas Size to 400 x 400
Central placement selected
Edit, Paste as a new layer
Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top

Working on the merged top layer
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 5
Change the blend mode to Overlay and reduce the opacity to 70
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for RD_MaskSet134_Mask4 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Wallaby
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel

Add the same drop shadow BUT change the opacity to 35

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 😀
