Kiss Craze

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Gineva
Template 195 by Millie
Photo Effex – Scanlines
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
RR_MaskSet11_1 by Rachel

I used the awesome artwork of Elias Chatzoudis
You can purchase his work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Elias’ work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open 195mpm template
Press Shift + D to duplicate and close the original
Delete the cr layer
Resize to 375 pixels wide, all layers checked
Image, Increase Canvas Size to 400 x 400, central placement selected
Unhide the Background layer and flood fill with white

Activate 5
Duplicate and on the original – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 2
On the copy – Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise
Gaussian & Monochrome: Checked / Noise: 35%

Still on the copy of 4
Select your magic wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Select inside copy of 4
Selections, Modify, Expand by 2 pixels
Activate 3 and press delete
Selections, None
Activate copy of 4 again and add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 3 / Opacity: 40 / Blur: 4.95 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Activate 3
Using your manual color correction tool (mini tut here)
Recolor to a color to complement your tube

Activate 2, recolor to another complimentary color
Move over to the right slightly
Activate 3 and select your magic wand (same settings as before)
Select inside 3
Activate 2 – Effects, Plugins, PhotoEffex – Scanlines

Selections, None
Add the same drop shadow as used before BUT change the V&H to 2

Activate 1, recolor if required
Effects, Plugins, Texture Effects – Weave

Duplicate 1 and on the original – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 3

Activate 5, recolor to a complimentary color
Duplicate and on the copy, change the blend mode to Screen
Reduce the opacity if required
Activate 5 again and duplicate again
On the original – Image, Flip
Line it up so it’s just below the original text

Select your Pick/Deform tool
Position your cursor over the bottom right corner
Holding your shift key, pull the corners out

Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 2

Activate 3
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed and position where it looks best
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 2 / H: 5 / Opacity: 40 / Blur: 4.95 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Select the top part of your tube, that is covered by 4

Selections, Promote selection to layer
On the original, press delete
Selections, None
Move the promoted layer above copy of 5

Activate copy of 4 and select your magic wand (same settings)
Click outside copy of 4, click again right up close where the shadow is

Activate the Tube and press delete
Selections, None

Activate the background layer
Add a new raster layer and flood fill with a color of choice
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for RR_MaskSet11_1 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group

Delete the white background
Crop away all excess canvas
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Edit, Paste as a new layer – rename Blur
Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top

Increase your canvas size to 400 x 400, central placement selected
Working on the Blur layer
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 5
Change the blend mode to Overlay and reduce the opacity to 48

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Gineva
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
Convert to raster
Duplicate and on the original
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise
Gaussian & Monochrome: Checked / Noise: 25%
Add the same drop shadow as used on the tube

Activate the copy of text
Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel
IMAGE
Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Move this layer below the Blur layer

Add your artists copyrights and your own taggers watermark
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
