Grey Passion

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Kite Script
Xero – Porcelain
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
RR_MaskSet47_Mask4 by Rachel
Foxys Designz portion of the CDO PinkSkiesGreyPassion Collab

I used the awesome artwork of Robert Alvarado
You can purchase his work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Robert’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400 x 400 and flood fill with Grey #AAAAAA
Open Frame 1 and resize to 200 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame
Move towards to the top left of the canvas

Activate the Grey background layer
Open Element12 and resize to 200 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Wings
Image Free Rotate, Right by 10 degrees
Position the wings slightly behind the frame
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 2 / H: 4 / Opacity: 35 / Blur: 14.85 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open Element22 and resize to 275 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Ribbon 1
Position along the base of the frame/wings
Add the same drop shadow as used on the wings

Open Element19 and resize to 275 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Ribbon 2
Position so the strands from Ribbon 2 come from the bottom of the Wings
Add the same drop shadow as used previously
Move below the Wing layer
Erase any Ribbon 2 you can see from the sides of the wings

Activate the Frame layer
Open Element2 and resize to 200 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Leaves
Rotate by 90 degrees to the left
Position along the left side of the frame
Add the same drop shadow again

Activate Ribbon 1
Open Element7 and resize to 50 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower
Position the flower head towards the bottom left corner of the frame
Erase the stem of the flower and add the same drop shadow

Activate Wings layer
Open a paper of choice – I used Paper8
Resize to 250 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame Back
Position within the frame
Activate the Frame
Select your magic wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Select inside the Frame
Selections, Modify, Expand by 3 pixels
Selections, Invert
Activate Frame Back and press delete
Selections, None

With Frame Back the active layer
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Position so the face is within the frame
Duplicate and on the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 3.25
Change the blend mode to Soft Light

Activate the original tube layer
Effects, Plugins, Xero – Porcelain
Use the default settings
Change the blend mode to Luminance (legacy)

Activate Frame Back
Selections, All, Float, Defloat, Invert
Press delete on both tube layer
Selections, None
Activate the Frame and add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 46 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Activate the Flower layer
Open Element14 and resize to 275 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Sparkles

Activate the Grey background layer
Open a paper of choice – I used Paper4
Resize to 350 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for RR_MaskSet47_Mask4 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Move the mask layer up and to the left so it sits behind the tag

Activate the Sparkle layer, which should be the top layer
Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Kite Script
Set your foreground to null, background set to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 20 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Delete the grey background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 😀

Some matching snags, just right click and save
