Summer Breeze

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Fonts of Choice – I used Novelty and Lavanderia Regular
Xero – Porcelain
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
RD_MaskSet128_Mask3 by Rachel
LHD Scraps portion of the CDO PinkSkiesGreyPassion Collab

I used the awesome artwork of Cartoon Pink
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Amy’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400 x 400 and flood fill with white
Open Ele27 and resize 300 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Clock
Duplicate and on the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 5.00
Change the blend mode to Soft Light

Open a paper of choice – I used paper 6
Resize to 400 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask
Move below the two clock layers
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for RD_MaskSet128_Mask3 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Duplicate and move the copy between the two clock layers

Activate the original clock layer
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: -3 / H: 8 / Opacity: 70 / Blur: 11.88 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Activate Copy of Clock
Open Ele8 and resize to 200 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flowers
Position on the left side of the Clock face, so the stems are at the top of the bottom numbers

Apply the same drop shadow BUT change the H to 4

Open Ele5 and resize to 200 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Ribbon
Positon on the right side of the Clock Face, you want the end of the ribbon overlapping the stems of the Flowers
Apply the same drop shadow

Open Ele12 and resize to 150 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower 2
Position over the center area of Ribbon
Add the same drop shadow

Open Ele10 and resize to 100 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Heart
Position between the Flower and Flower 1 layer
Add the same drop shadow
Move below Flower 1 layer

Open Ele9 and resize to 100 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Circle
Position over the Heart

Move below the Flower layer, so you can just see the tip

Activate the Clock layer
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Position where it looks best within the clock face
Duplicate and active the original
Working on the original
Effects, Plugins, Xero – Porcelain
Use the default settings BUT set the Blue Channel to 0
Repeat the Porcelain again using the same settings
Apply the same drop shadow as used on the Clock (V: -3 / H: 8 / Opacity: 70 / Blur: 11.88 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked)

Activate and unhide the Copy of Tube
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 5
Change the blend mode to Overlay and reduce the opacity to 67

Select your Freehand Selection tool with these settings:
Selection type: Point to point / Mode: Add (shift) / Feather & Smoothing: 0 / Anti-Alias: Checked
Select the area below the main cluster

Press delete on the following layers:
Mask / Clock / Tube / Copy of Tube / Copy of Mask / Copy of Clock
Selections, None

Activate Flower
Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Novelty
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Type out your text of choice, I wrote summer
Position under the cluster area, use the nodes to stretch so its as wide as your tag area

When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: -3 / H: 4 / Opacity: 40 / Blur: 11.88 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Keep your text tool active but choose another font – I used Lavanderia Regular
Keep your settings the same but change the color if needed
Activate Flower 1
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Apply the same Gradient Glow, changing the color if required
However remove the 2nd node on the color bar

Add the same drop shadow as used on the previous text layer

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Delete the white background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 🙂
