Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Streetlight
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Miz_Mask_152 by Mizteeque

I used the awesome artwork of Amy Brown
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Amy’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400 x 400 and flood fill with grey #C0C0C0
Select your preset shape tool with these settings:
Shape: Rounded Rectangle / Anti-Alias & Create as Vector: Checked / Line style: Solid / Width: 3
Set your foreground to a dark color of choice, background set to null
Draw an oval shape not quite as wide as your canvas

Objects, Align, Center in Canvas
Duplicate and hide the copy – leaving as a vector layer
On the original, convert to raster
Rename Frame

Activate the Grey background layer
Copy and paste your image as a new layer
Position within the Frame
Duplicate and on the copy – Image, Mirror

Working on the copy
Erase the parts you don’t want
I erased the dragon, as I only want the tree

Now, hide the copy for a moment and activate the original image layer
Select your Clone tool, with these settings:
Shape: Round / Size: 18 / Hardness: 50 / Denstiy, Thickness & Opacity: 100 / Step: 10 / Rotation: 0
Zoom in, Right click in the area you want to clone

Then move your mouse to the part you want to cover and left click
You will have to keep, right and left clicking until the area is cloned
Hide this layer and unhide the copy
Repeat the Clone on the copy
Then unhide the original
This is what I have now

Activate the copy and Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Rename Background

With your Background to active layer
Duplicate and on the copy
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 5
Lower the opacity to about 70

Select your Magic Wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Activate the Frame and click outside
Selections, Modify, Expand by 2 pixels
Press delete on both Background and Copy of Background layers
Selections, None

Activate your Frame
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I left mine at 100%
Position where it looks best towards the base of the Frame
Duplicate and on the original, add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 2 / H: 7 / Opacity: 50 / Blur: 7.92 / Color #111111 / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

On the copy of Tube
Add a gaussian blur with a radius of 3
Lower the opacity to about 50

Activate the grey background layer
Add a new raster layer and flood fill with a color of choice
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for Miz_Mask_152 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize to 95%, all layers unchecked

Activate and unhide the copy of vector shape
Layers, Arrange, Send to Bottom
Move up so it’s above the grey background layer
Activate the top layer – which should be Copy of Tube
Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Streetlight
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Position your mouse curser so it’s over the edge of the vector shape
You should get a +A) or +T) symbol
Click and add your text of choice, I wrote ‘sometimes I sit and think of you for a while’
Position along the top of the vector shape
When happy, convert to raster
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V & H: 2 / Opacity: 50 / Blur: 7.92 / Color: #111111 / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Delete the vector shape layer

Keeping your text tool active, changing the font if required, I used the same font
Keep your settings the same, changing the background color if required
Add your name and postion where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add the same drop shadow as used on your previous text layer

Add your artists copyrights and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Delete the grey background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 😀
