Sweet Things

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Simple Monologue
Filters Unlimited 2 – Paper Textures
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
RD_Mask707 & RD_MaskSet100_Mask2 by Rachel
IB_CuddlyRigorMortis_37-2 by LHD Scraps

I used the awesome artwork of Cuddly Rigor Mortis
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Kristin’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400 x 400 and flood fill with grey #AAAAAA
Open Ele1 and resize to 350 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower String
Position towards the bottom of the canvas area
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 62 / Blur: 8.91 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Activate the grey background layer
Open Ele8 and resize to 325 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Grass
Position so the flower string sits along the base of the grass
Add the same drop shadow

Open Ele5 and resize to 275 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Pink Blossom
Move below the Grass layer
Position where it looks best behind the Grass
Add the same drop shadow
Erase any Pink Blossom that is below the Grass

Open Ele19 and resize to 350 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename BG
Position behind the Pink Blossom where it looks best
Duplicate and on the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 6

Activate the Pink Blossom
Open Ele27 and resize to 350 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Leaves
Image, Free Rotate, 90 degrees to the left
Position on one side of the grass, where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow
Erase any Leaves from below the Grass

Activate the Grass layer
Open Ele3 and resize to 150 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Lilies
Position where it looks best on the grass
Add the same drop shadow

Activate the Flower String
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized by 45%, all layers unchecked
Position where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow BUT change the H to 4

Activate the grey background layer
Add a new raster layer
Selections, All
Open a paper of choice – I used Paper6
Copy and paste into the selection
Selections, None
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for RD_Mask707 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to Canvas and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group – rename Mask 1
Erase any mask you can see below the Grass

Add another new layer, Selections, All
Copy and paste another paper of choice into the selection – I used Paper5
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for RD_MaskSet100_Mask2 or mask of choice
Same settings as before
Layers, Merge, Merge Group – rename Mask 2
Erase any mask you can see below the Grass

Hide the grey background
Crop away any excess canvas
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Paste as a new layer – rename Top
Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top
Increase the canvas size to 400 x 400, central placement selected
Adjustm, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 6
Effects, Plugins, Filters Unlimited 2 – Paper Textures
Choose the Canvas, Fine option
Intensity: 156 / Lightness: 87
Change the blend mode to Overlay and reduce the opacity to 65
Move your tube layer above the Top layer on your layer palette

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Simple Monologue
Set your foreground and background to the same color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position along the base of the tag
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 40 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 😀
