Easter Cutie

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Falling Slowly
Xero – Porcelain and Radiance
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Mask109 by Vix
IB_MarylineCazenave_March2018_BT kit by Creative Scraps by Crys

I used the awesome artwork of Maryline Cazenave
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Maryline’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill with grey #C0C0C0
Open a paper of choice, I used Paper6
Resize to 600 pixels, copy and paste as a new layer
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for Vix_Mask109 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group – rename Mask
Image, Resize by 85%, all layers unchecked

Open Splatter and resize to 75%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Splatter
Duplicate and on the copy change the blend mode to Multiply
Reduce the opacity to 75

Open your tube of choice, copy and paste as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if required, I reszied by 65%, all layers unchecked
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 2 / H: 7 / Opacity: 40 / Blur: 8.91 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open Rose2 and resize by 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Plant Pot
Position where it looks best in front of your tube
Add the same drop shadow

Open Grass and resize to 55%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Grass 1
Position behind the tube where it looks best
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 1 / Opacity: 40 / Blur: 5.94 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Go back to the Grass and Edit, Undo
Now resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Grass 2
Position on top of Grass 1
Add the same drop shadow

Open Frame2 and resize by 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame
Position behind the tube where it looks best
Select your magic wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Select inside the Frame
Selections, Modify, Expand by 10 pixels
Add a new raster layer – name it Frame Back
Copy and paste a paper of choice into the selection – I used Paper2
Selections, None
Move the Frame Back below the Frame layer
Activate the Frame and add the same drop shadow as used on the Tube
Erase any Frame and Frame Back you can see below your tube

Open Butterflies and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Butterflies
Image, Flip
Position so it’s just above the Frame
Add the same drop shadow as used on the Grass layers

Open Scatter and select your selection tool with these settings:
Selection type: Rectangle / Mode: Replace / Feather: 0 / Anti-Alias: Checked
Select one of the flowers on the scatter
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flowers
Go back to the scatter and select another flower
Copy and paste as a new selection, position where it looks best
Selections, None
Keep repeating until you are happy with how it looks
Add the same drop shadow as used on the Grass

Delete the grey background layer
Crop away all excess canvas
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Paste as a new layer – rename Top
Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top
Increase the canvas size to 600 x 600, central placement selected

Working on the top layer
Effects, Plugins, Xero – Porcelain
Use the default settings
Effects, Plugins, Xero – Radiance
Use the defautl settings
Change the blend mdoe to Soft Light and reduce the oapcity to 59
Duplicate and on the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 15
Change the blend mode to Screen and drop the opacity to 40

Crop away any excess tag
If you want a smaller tag, resize now
I resized to 400 pixels wide, all layers checked

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Falling Slowly
Set your foreground and background to the same color
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Stroke width set to 1
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H:3 / Opacity: 40 / Blur: 13.86 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 😀
