The Sea

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Elegant Roughness
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
MB and SW Mask 68 by Staci
IB-Enys Guerrero-23-3 by Honored Scraps

I used the awesome artwork of Anna Liwanag
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Anna’s work without purchasing a license first.
*Note* I used a retired Bonus Tube from May 2015, this is sadly no longer available

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill with grey #929292
Open Element_15
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename BG
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 3 / Opacity: 59 / Blur: 9.90 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open Element_20 and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Window
Position on the BG where it looks best
Grab your Magic Wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Select outside the window
Selections, Modify, Expand by 10 pixels
Selections, Invert
Activate BG and press delete
Keep Selected
Add a new raster layer – name it Window Back
Copy and paste a paper of choice into the selection
I used Paper_06
Selections, None
Ensure Window Back in below the Window layer
On the Window layer, add the same drop shadow

Open Element_23
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Tree
Position so the leaves are above the Window
Move the Tree layer below the Window Back layer
Add the same drop shadow
Erase any of the Tree you can see below the Window and/or BG layers

Activate Window layer
Open Element_03, copy and paste as a new layer – rename Lighthouse
Position to one side of the Window
Add the same drop shadow

Open Element_14 and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Coral
Position on the bottom edge of the BG
Add the same drop shadow

Open WordArt_01 and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename WordArt
Position over the middle of the Window
Add the same drop shadow

Open Element_05 and resize to 500 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Lights
Image, Mirror
Position where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow

Activate the grey bakground layer
Open a paper of choice – I used Paper_06
Resize to 600 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for MB and SW Mask 68 or one of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Erase any mask you can see below the tube layer

Open another paper of choice – I used Paper_01
Resize to 600 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 2
Apply the same mask, with the same settings
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Image, Flip
Move down slightly so you can see the mask below the tube
Erase any mask you can see above the tube
Duplicate and on the copy, change the blend mode to Mulitply
On the original – Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise
Uniform & Monochrome: Checked / Noise: 15%

Activate Lights
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized to 65%, all layers unchecked
Position where it looks best towards the bottom of the BG
Duplicate and on the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 5
Change the blend mode to Overlay and reduce the opacity to 70
On the original, add the same drop shadow

Delete the grey background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Resize if you perfer a smaller tag – I resized to 400 pixels wide, all layers checked

Activate the Tube layer
Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Elegant Roughness
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel

Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Duplicate and on the original, add the same drop shadow
On the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 3
Lower the opacity to about 55
Layers, Merge, Merge Down

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Crop again if needed
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 😀
