Beauty In Light

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Animation Shop
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Dulcelin
DarkLight2 (FTU) Kit by Chaos Priestess
Animation of Choice – I used Animation5 from pkg2 by René Kunert

I used the awesome artwork of Anna Liwanag
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Anna’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 650 x 2oo
Open a paper of choice, I used Paper4
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename BG
Position the paper where it looks best

Open Frame3 and resize by 50%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame
Image, Free Rotate, Left by 30 degrees
Position on one side of canvas

Open another paper of choice, I used Paper6
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame Back
Move this layer below the Frame layer

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized by 50%
Position the focal point of the tube inside the Frame
Duplicate your Tube layer and working on the copy
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 15
Change the blend mode to Overlay
Reduce the opacity if needed, I set mine at 77

Grab your Magic Wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Activate the Frame layer
Select inside the Frame with your magic wand
Selections, Modify, Expand by 10 pixels
Selections, Invert
Activate Frame Back and press delete
Now press delete on both your Tube and Copy of Tube layers
Selections, None

Activate the Frame
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 3 / Opacity: 40 / Blur: 13.86 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Activate the BG layer
Open Doodle1, copy and paste as a new layer – rename Doodle
Position where it looks best, erase any bits of the doodle you don’t want
I added the doodle again, then Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Duplicate your Doodle layer, working on the copy
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 5
Change the blend mode to Overlay

Open RibbonEl2
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Ribbon
Position towards the bottom of the tag
Add the same drop shadow as used on your Frame

Activate the Frame
Open Flower8
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower 1
Position the large open lily on the left into the right corner
Add the same drop shadow

Open Flower7
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower2
Image, Mirror
Position on the left corner so just the head of the flower is showing
Add the same drop shadow

Open Paper8
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Edge
Crop the canvas to 650 x 200
Selections, All, Modify, Contract by 2 pixels
Press delete and Selections, None
Duplicate and on the copy
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 3

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Dulcelin
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position here it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Add the same drop shadow

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
At this point you can save as a jpg/png

To Animate
Activate BG – Layers, View, Current Only
Also Unhide the 2 Doodle layers
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Open Animation (AS)
Edit, Paste as a new animation

Open your animation of choice
Duplicate your tag, until you have the same amount of frames as the animation
On your Animation – Edit, Select All, Edit Copy
Back to the Tag – Edit, Select All, Edit, Paste into Selected Frame

Back to PSP
Layers, View, All
Hide the BG and 2 Doodle layers
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Back to AS
Edit, Paste into Selected Frame
Save as a gif file
All Done 😀
