Nevermore

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Dickens Script
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
MB & SW Mask 68 by Staci
MPM_mask09 by Millie
NevaRmore kit by Chaos Priestess

I used the awesome artwork of Jasmine Becket-Griffith
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Jasmine’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 550 x 550 and flood fill with white
Open Frame02 and resize to 400 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Lock
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 3 / H: – 3 / Opacity: 50 / Blur: 4.95 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open El11 and resize to 400 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Door Frame
Position over the left frame side of the lock

Add the same drop shadow
Activate Lock and erase any of the frame you can see to the right of the door frame

Open El07
Copy and paste as new you layer – rename Clock
Position so the clock is above the lock
Add the same drop shaow
Erase any excess of the tree
I selected the area to be deleted

Open El04 and resize to 350 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Door Roses
Position on the right side of the Door Frame
Add the same drop shadow

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized by 60%
Position where it looks best in front of the door frame
Duplicate and on the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 5
Change the blend mode to Multiply
Reduce the opacuty to about 75
On the original, add the same drop shadow as previously used

Open El34
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Key
Position the key element where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow
Erase any excess chain, you only want the key

Open El09 and resize to 350 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Roses
Position on the left and move below the Door Frame
Erase any excess Roses you can see below the Door Frame

Add the same drop shadow

Activate the white background layer
Open El15 and resize to 415 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename BG 1
Position on the left side of the lock

Open El10 and resize to 400 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename BG2
Position on the right side of the door frame

Activate Roses
Open El16 and resize to 200 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Raven
Position at the top of the Door Frame
Add the same drop shadow
Select the tail of the raven

Selections, Promote Selection to Layer
On the original, press delete
Selections, None
Move the promoted selection above the Copy of Tube

Activate Door Roses
Open El18 and resize to 400 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Sparkles
Position on the left of the Tube

Activate the Key layer
Open El14 and resize to 400 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Wordart
Position along the base of the tag and add the same drop shadow

Activate the white background layer
Open a paper of choice – I used Paper2
Resize to 550 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 1
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for MB & SW Mask 68 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group

Open another paper, I used Paper12
Resize to 550 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 2
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for MPM_mask09 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize by 85%, all layers unchecked
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 2

Activate the Wordart layer
Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Dickens Script
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add the same drop shadow

Delete the white background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Paste as a new layer – rename Top
Increase the canvas size to 550 x 550
Make sure this is the top layer – Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 10
Change the blend mode to Overlay and reduce the opacity to 57

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 😀
