Castles In The Sky

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Fonts of Choice – I used Limehouse Script, Little Ryan and Ministry Script
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Mask80 by Zuzzanna
CDO Candy Land Collab 2018 – Portion by Foxys Designz

I used the awesome artwork of Maryline Cazenave
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Maryline’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 550 x 550 and flood fill with grey #D6D6D6
Open Frame2 and resize to 400 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame
Open Element30 and resize to 450 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Swirls

Open Element18 and resize to 450 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer and rename Castle
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 3 / Opacity: 57 / Blur: 12.87 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Position the base of the door along the base of the Frame

Open Element17
Select your selection tool with these settings:
Selection type: Rectangle / Mode: Add (Shift) / Feather: 0 / Anti-Alias: Checked
Draw a selection round one of the clouds
Copy and paste as a new layer
Move below the Castle layer and position where it looks best
Back to Element17
Draw a selection round another of the clouds
Copy and paste as a new layer and position where it looks best
Keep repeating until you have enough clouds
Hide all layers except your cloud layers
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible – rename Clouds
Layers, View, View All

Open Element1 and resize to 450 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Rainbow
Move below the clouds layer
Position where it looks best
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 11

Activate your Castle
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized to 45%, all layers unchecked
Position where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow as used on the Castle

Open Element17 again
Using your selection tool with the same settings as before
Select a cloud
Copy and paste as a new layer
Position behind your tube where it looks best
Repeat again if you need another cloud
Layers, Merge, Merge Down – rename Clouds 2
Only do this step if you used 2 clouds

Select your preset shape tool with these settings:
Shape: Ellipse / Anti-Alias & Create as Vector: Checked / Line style: Solid / Width: 4.00
Set your foreground to any color, background set to null
Draw a circle round your tag area

DO NOT CONVERT TO RASTER

Activate your Tube layer
Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Limehouse Script
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Position your cursor over the edge of the vector shape till you get a +A) or +T) symbol
Click and add your text of choice, you want it round the top of the circle

Ignore the fact my text is black on the screen shot

When happy, convert to raster – rename Text 1
Delete the vector circle layer now
Activate the Text layer
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Duplicate and on the original – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 4
Lower the opacity on the copy to about 73

Select your text tool again, choosing another font if required – I used Little Ryan
Keep your settings the same, changing the background color if needed
Add your text and position under the previous text
When happy, convert to raster – rename text 2
Duplicate and on the copy, apply the same Gaussian Blur
Lower the opacity to about 51
On the original, add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 0 / Opacity: 57 / Blur: 12.87 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Choose another font – I used Ministry Script
Again keep your settings the same changing the background color if needed
Add your name and position where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow as just used

Activate Copy of Swirls
Duplicate and move the copy above the Castle layer
Change the blend mode to Normal

Delete the grey background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Activate Copy of Text 1
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Paste as a new layer – rename Blur
Increase the canvas size to 550 x 550, central placement selected
Adjust, Blue, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 15
Change the blend mode to Overlay
Reduce the opacity to 61

Open a paper of choice – I used Paper7
Resize to 550 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask
Layers, Arrange, Send to Bottom
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for ZuzzannaMask80 or one of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Activate your Frame layer and delete it

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 😀
