Snow White

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Battshion
AoRK-Mask-87 by René Kunert
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
IB CuddlyRigorMortis 46-1 by Gimptastic Scraps

I used the awesome artwork of Maryline Cazenave
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Maryline’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400 x 400 and flood fill with white
Open Ele20 and resize to 300 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Vine
Position towards the right side of the canvas
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 2 / H: 4 / Opacity: 50 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Select your preset shape tool with these settings:
Shape: Ellipse / Anti-Alias & Create as Vector: Checked / Line style: Solid / Width: 8.00
Set your foreground to a color of choice, background set to null
Draw an oval and then angle it a little so it sits along the vine
Please ignore the fact that my shape is black on my screen shots

When happy, convert to raster and rename Frame

Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel

Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise
Gaussian & Monochrome: Checked / Noise: 35%
Duplicate the frame
Working on the copy, change the blend mode to Overlay

Open Ele2 and resize to 300 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Leaves
Position along the bottom of your frame
Duplicate and Image, Mirror
Move the copy up a little so you have thicker looking leaves
Add the same drop shadow to both leaves layers

Open Ele3 and resize to 300 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Ribbon
Position along the leaves and add the same drop shadow
Grab your selection tool with these settings:
Selection type: Rectangle / Mode: Add (Shift) / Feather: 0 / Anti-Alias: Checked
Draw a selection round the rolled end of the ribbon that is covering the leaves

Selections, Promote Selection to Layer
On the original Ribbon layer, press delete
Selections, None
Move the Promoted Selection below both Leaves layers

Activate the original Ribbon layer
Open Ele1 ad resize to 100 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Apple
Position where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow again

Activate your Frame and grab you Magic Wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Select inside your Frame
Selections, Modify, Expand by 5 pixels
Activate the white background layer
Add a new raster layer – rename BG 1
Copy and paste a paper of choice into the selection – I used Paper4
Keep Selected
Add another new layer and rename BG 2
Copy and paste another paper of choice into the selection – I used Paper6
Selections, None
Change the blend mode on BG 2 to Luminance (Legacy) and reduce the opacity to about 53

Open Ele15
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Grass
Position within the frame
Add the same drop shadow
Erase any grass that is outside the frame

Activate the original Ribbon layer again
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized mine by 50%, all layers unchecked
Position where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow
Duplicate and on the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 7
Change the blend mode to Overlay and reduce the opacity to 42

Activate the white background layer
Open a paper of choice – I used Paper4
Resize to 400 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for AoRK-Mask-87 or one of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Duplicate and on the copy, change the blend mode to Multiply

Activate the Vine layer
Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Battshion
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add the same drop shadow as used throughout

Add your artists copyright, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Delete the white background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 😀
