Once In A Lifetime

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used LovelyBathy
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Mask007 by Karma
Love Song kit by Gimptastic Scraps

I used the awesome artwork of Keith Garvey
You can purchase his work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Keith’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 450 x 450 and flood fill with Grey #929292
Open ele14 and resize to 75%
Copy and paste as a new layer- rename Back
Select your preset shape tool with these settings:
Shape: Rectangle / Anti-Alias & Create as Vector: Checked / Line style: Solid / Width: 10.00
Set your foreground to white and your background to null
Draw a rectangle, slighlty off center
Not quite as tall or as wide as the Back layer
IMAGE
Convert to raster and rename Frame

Open ele26
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Rose
Position towards the top left of the Frame
Duplicate and Image, Mirror, Flip
Position towards the bottom right of the Frame
On the copy – Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Move down below the Back layer
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 50 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Erase any of the Rose that is inside the Frame

Open ele31 and resize to 75%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Leaf
Image, Mirror
Move below the Rose layer
Position on the right side of the frame where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow

Activate the Rose layer
Open ele45
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Heart
Position so the left side of the heart is on the left side of the frame
Add the same drop shadow
Erase any heart that is inside the frame

Open ele36
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Leaves
Position where it looks best across the middle of the canvas
Add the same drop shadow

Open ele38
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Piano
Position where it looks best across the middle of the canvas
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for Karmalized_Mask007 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to canvas and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group

Activate the Frame
Select your Magic Wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Select inside the Frame
Selections, Modify, Expand by 5 pixels
Activate Back (which should be directly below the Frame layer)
Selections, Promote Selection to Layer
Selections, None
Rename the Promoted Selection Back Top
Rename the original Back – Back Bottom

Activate Back Top
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Position the face within the frame
Resize if needed, I resized by 75%, all layers unchecked
Duplicate the tube
On the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 6
Change the blend mode to Overlay and reduce the opacity to about 65
On the original tube layer – change the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy)
Activate the Frame again
Using the magic wand with the same settings, select inside the frame
Selections, Modify, Expand by 5 pixels
Selections, Invert – press delete on both Tube layers
Selections, None
Move Back Top above the two tube layers
Activate the Frame and add the same drop shadow

With the Frame the active layer
Open ele28 and resize to 35%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Clock
Position on the left bottom side of the frame
Add the same drop shadow

Open wordart1 and resize to 75%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Wordart
Image, Free Rotate, Left 90 degrees
Position along the left edge of the Frame
Selections, All, Float, Defloat, Modify, Contract by 2 pixels
Selections, Invert
Press shift + G to open the Gamma Correction
Set all 3 values to 0.70

Keep Selected
Effects, Texture Effects, Blinds

Selections, None
Image, Free Rotate, Right 10 degrees
Position where it looks best and add the same drop shadow

Open ele50 and resize to 75%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Ribbon
Position at the top of the frame and add the same drop shadow
Move below the Wordart layer

Activate the Wordart layer
Open ele13 and resize to 45%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Ribbon 2
Position on top of Ribbon where it looks best
Add the same drops shadow

Activate the Grey background layer
Open a paper of choice – I used paper1
Resize to 450 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask
Apply the same mask as used before
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Duplicate twice for a total of 3 mask layers
On the middle mask layer – change the blend mode to Multiply
On the top mask layer – change the blend mode to Soft Light and reduce the opacity to 71
Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top

With the top layer active
Select your text tool and choose a font – I used LovelyBarthy
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name
Image, Free Rotate, Right by 8 degrees
Position where it looks best and convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel

Add the same drop shadow again

Add your artist copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Delete the grey background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as jpg/png
All Done 😀
