Pink Puppy

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Last Factory
Xero – Porcelain & Radiance
Mask 107 by Vix
Tonya’s Pink Easter mini kit by Karmalized Scraps

I used the awesome artwork of Maryline Cazenave
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Maryline’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 400 x 400 and flood fill with white
Open Element_43 and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Long Grass
Effects, Image Effects, Offset
H: 0 / V: -63 / Custom & Transparent: Checked

Open Element_42 and resize to 75%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Fence
Move below the Long Grass layer
Move over to the right so you have a thick post at both ends of the Long Grass

Grab your selection tool with these settings:
Selection type: Rectangle / Mode: Add (Shift) / Feather: 0 / Anti-Alias: Checked
Select the right end of the fence

Press delete and Selections, None

Now select the left end of the fence

Selections, Promote Selection to Layer
Selections, None
On the Promoted Selection – Image, Mirror
It should line up with the original fence section, if not zoom in and line it up
Ensure you are on the Promoted Selection and that is directly above the Fence layer

Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Add a drop shadow of choice to your Fence layer – I used:
V: 5 / H: 3 / Opacity: 40 /Blur: 13.86 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open Element_18 and resize to 85%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower Ring
Move below the Fence layer
Effects, Image Effects, Offset
Use the same settings as before
Add the same drop shadow BUT change the opacity to 55
Erase any Flower Ring that is below the Long Grass

Activate the Fence layer
Open Element_01, copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower Heart
Effects, Image Effects, Offset
H: 0 / V: -115 / Custom & Transparent: Checked
Erase any Flower Heart that is below the Long Grass

Open Element_08 and resize to 55%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Bird House
Position on the left side where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow as used on the Flower Ring

Open Element_41 and resize to 40%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Short Grass
Effects, Image Effects, Offset
H: 0 / V: -130 / Custom & Transparent: Checked

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized to 30%
Position so it’s on the Short Grass where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow

Open Elements 21, 29, 30 and 34
Resize each on to 15%
Copy and paste each one as a new layer – rename Egg 1, 2, 3 and 4
Position them where they look best around your tube
Move some below your tube if they look better
Add the same drop shadow to each one

Activate the top layer
Open Sparkle_01 and resize to 350 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Sparkles
Position where they look best, I moved mine below the Tube layer

Activate the white background layer
Open Element_28 and resize to 350 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename White Heart
Position to the top section of the heart is between the end fence posts
You will need to either hide the white background or flood fill with grey (like I did) so you can see the heart

When happy with the position, Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 6

Open a paper of choice – I used Paper_08
Resize the Paper to 400 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for Vix_Mask107 or one of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Change the blend mode to Multiply
Duplicate and ensure the copy is also set to Multiply
Erase any of the two mask layer and White Heart layer that is below the Short Grass layer

Delete the white/grey background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Paste as a new layer – rename Top Blur
Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top
Increase the canvas size to 450 x 450 , central placement selected

Working Top Blur
Effects, Plugins, Xero – Porcelain
Use the default setting
Duplicate and on the copy – Effects, Plugins, Xero – Radiance

Change the blend mode to Screen and reduce the opacity to about 55

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Last Factory
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster – rename Name
Duplicate and activate the original
Using your manual color correction tool (mini tut here)
Recolor to a dark color, I used dark green

Effects, Image Effects, Offset
H: 0 / V: 2 / Custom & Transparent: Checked
Apply a drop shadow of choice to this layer – I used:
V&H: 3 / Opacity: 55 / Blur: 3.96 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Activate the Copy of Name, Layers, Merge, Merge Down

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own tagger watermark as a new layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 😀
