Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Fonts of Choice – I used Impact and Really Hot Sauce Script
MuRa’s Meister – Copies
Xero – Fritillary
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

I used the awesome artwork of Jennifer Janesko
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Jennifer’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 500 x 200
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube 1
Resize if needed, I left mine at 100%
Position on either the left or right side of the canvas
Duplicate Tube 1 four times so you have 5 tube layers
Rename Tube 2, Tube 3, Tube 4 and Tube 5

Activate Tube 1 – this should be the original bottom tube layer
Adjust, Blur, Motion Blur
Angle: 270 / Strength: 100
Press CRTL + Y to repeat the Motion Blur
Repeat the Motion Blur again
Rename this layer Motion Blur

Still on Motion Blur layer
Effects, Edge Effects – Dilate
Repeat the Dilate again
Effects, Plugins, MuRa’s Miester – Copies
Choose the *Line preset

Duplicate the Motion Blur layer – rename the copy Fritillary
Effects, Plugins, Xero – Fritillary

Change the blend mode to Overlay

Activate Tube 5 – this should be the top tube layer
Move over the other side of the canvas
You want at least half of the tube off the canvas
Change the blend mode to Luminance (legacy) and reduce the opacity to 28

Activate Tube 2
Change the blend mode to Soft Light
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 3 / H: 9 / Opacity: 45 / Blur: 3.96 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Activate Tube 3
Change the blend mode to Soft Light

Activate Fritillary and duplicate
Move the copy above Tube 3
Move Tube 5 below the Copy of Fritillary

Still on Copy of Fritillary
Crop the canvas to 500 x 200
Effects, Illumination Effects, Sunburst

Repeat the Sunburst again

Activate Tube 4 – this should now be your top layer
Change the blend mode to Luminance (legacy)
Reduce the opacity to 59

Activate the original Motion Blur layer
Select your text tool and choose a bold font – I used Impact
Set your foreground to null, background to black
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your text of choice – I wrote ‘SUNSHINE’
Use the nodes to stretch it out so it almost fills your canvas

Change the blend mode to Soft Light

Activate Tube 4
Add a new raster layer – name it Frame
Flood fill with a complimentary color of choice
Selections, All, Modify, Contract by 2 pixels and press delete
Selection, Modify, Contract by 5 pixels
Flood fill with the same color again
Selections, Modify, Contract by 1 pixel and press delete
Selections, None

Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise
Gaussian & Monochrome: Checked / Noise: 20%
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 45 / Blur: 3.96 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Repeat the Drop Shadow changing both the V&H to -2 (minus 2)

Select your text tool and choose another font – I used Really Hot Sauce Script
Set your foreground to null, background to a complimentary color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, Convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add the same drop shadow as used on the frame, setting the V&H to 2 (+2)

Add your artists copyrights and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 😀

I made another sample using the art of Sheena Pike, who is also licensed through CDO, you can find this tube {here}. Fonts used on this sample are Bank Gothic Light (PANDALICIOUS) and DazzlingDivas (name)
