Spring Has Sprung

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Mudhisa Script
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Mask’s 005, 006 and 021 all by Me
Spring Awakening by LHD Scraps

I used the awesome artwork of Caron Vinson
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Caron’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 500 x 500 and flood fill with grey #686A5E
Open Ele6 and resize by 90%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame Blur
Image, Free Rotate, Right by 90 Degrees
Duplicate and rename the copy Frame
Activate Frame Blur
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 9
On the Frame layer, add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 0 / H: 2 / Opacity: 44 / Blur: 5.94 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Activate the grey background layer
Open Ele15, copy and paste as a new layer – rename Leaves
Position where it looks best behind the frame
Erase any leaf stem you can see below the Frame
Add the same drop shadow as used on the Frame BUT change the Blur to 11.88

Open Ele7 and resize to 45%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flowers 1
Position so part is coming out from behind the Frame
Add the same drop shadow as used on the Leaves
Move so it’s between Frame Blur and Frame layers

Open Ele51 and resize to 45%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flowers 2
Position so part is coming out from behind the other side of the Frame
Add the same drop shadow

Activate Frame
Copy and paste your tube of choice as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized by 65%, all layers unchecked
Position where it looks best within the Frame
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 0 / H: 4 / Opacity: 63 / Blur: 10.89 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open Ele14 and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flowers 3
Position on one side of the Frame where it looks best
Add the same shadow as used on the Leaves layer

Open Ele16 and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flowers 4
Position over Flowers 3 and add the same drop shadow
Erase any stem that is lower the frame

Open Ele60 and resize to 30%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flowers 5
Position at the base of Flowers 3 and 4
Add the same drop shadow

Open Ele12 and resize to 25%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flowers 6
Position on the opposite side to the other flowers at the base of the Frame
Add the same drop shadow

Activate Flowers 5
Open Ele26 and resize to 85%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Sparkles
Move over so the right end is level with the right side of your tag
Position so it goes under Flowers 6
Erase any excess that is to the left of Flowers 6
Duplicate and on the copy – Image, Mirror
Move up on the canvas and position between the 2 frame layers where it looks best

Activate the grey background layer
Open Paper6 and resize to 500 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 1
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for JustFi_Mask006 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group

Open Paper5 and resize to 500 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 2
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for JustFi_Mask022 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group

Open Paper2 and resize to 500 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 2
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for JustFi_Mask005 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group

Hide the grey background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Paste as a new layer – rename Top
Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top
Increase the canvas size to 550 x 550, central placement selected
On the Top layer – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 8
Change the blend mode to Hard Light and reduce the opacity to 59
Effects, Texture Effects, Sandstone

Now select your text tool and choose a font – I used Mudhisa Script
Set your foreground to null and background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 62 / Blur: 3.96 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 😀
