Tube of Choice
Fonts of Choice – I used Dolce Vita and Pieces of Eight
My X – by Me
RD_Mask837 by Rachel
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Ships Ahoy CDO Collab 2019 – I used the portion by Chaos Priestess

I used the awesome artwork of Keith Garvey
I purchased this tube when Keith was selling independantly, you can now purchase his work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Keith’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 500 x 500 and flood fill with grey #929292
Open Frame1 and resize to 425 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame

Open El09
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Map
Move below the Frame layer
Position so the map fills the frame
Grab your Magic Wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Activate the Frame and select inside
Selections, Modify, Expand by 5 pixels
Selections, Invert
Activate the Map layer and press delete
Selections, None
Activate the Frame again and add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 3 / Opacity: 52 / Blur: 7.92 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open El20 and resize to 500 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Sand
Position just above the base of the Frame

Now erase any of the Frame you can see below the Sand
I selected the area to be deleted

Open El08 and resize to 425 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Tree
Position on the left side of the Frame
Move below the Map layer
Add the same drop shadow
Erase any of the tree stump & leaves you can see below the sand
Again I selected the area to be deleted

Open El10 and resize to 50%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Anchor
Position on the bottom left of the Frame, where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow
Grab your Freehand Selection tool with these settings:
Selection type: Point to point / Mode: Add (shift) / Feather & Smoothing: 0 / Anti-Alias: Checked
Draw a selection along the base of your anchor

Selections, Modify, Feather by 2 pixels
Activate Sand layer – Selections, Promote Selection to Layer – rename Top Sand
Selections, None
Move the Top Sand layer above the anchor layer

Hide the grey layer
Crop away all excess canvas
Increase the canvas size to 500 x 500, central placement selected
This just puts your tag in the center of the canvas, rather than towards to the top

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized by 65%, all layers unchecked
Position where it looks best
Duplicate and on the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 5
Change the blend mode to Overlay and reduce the opacity to 67
On the original tube layer, add the same drop shadow

Open El17 and resize to 25%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Rocks
Position where it looks best and add the same drop shadow

Activate the grey background layer
Flood fill again with grey
Open a paper of choice – I used Paper1

Resize by 85%, all layers unchecked
Erase any mask you can see below the main tag area
I selected the area to be deleted

Open another paper and resize to 500 pixels – I used Paper6
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 2
Apply the same mask with the settings
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize to 85%, all layers unchecked
Image, Mirror
Again erase any mask from below the tag area

Activate the top layer on your layer palette

Add a new raster layer – name it X2

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Dolce Vita
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Type out ‘marks the spot’
Position next to your X where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Select your text tool again and choose another font – I used Pieces Of Eight
Keep your settings the same, changing the background color if required
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, Convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add the same drop shadow

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
