Bottle ‘O Rum

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Moonlime
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
RR_MaskSet_1-1 by Rachel
Ships Ahoy CDO Collab 2019 – I used the portion by Foxys Designz

I used the awesome artwork of PinUp Toons
You can purchase his work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Rion’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 650 x 650 and flood fill with white
Open Element24 and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Rock
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 63 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Move the Rock over to the left side of the canvas

Open Element16 and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Leaves 1
Image, Free Rotate, Right by 90 degrees
Move below the Rock layer
Position on the left side of the Rock
Duplicate and Image, Mirror – rename Leaves 2
Position behind the Rock on the right side
Add the same drop shadow to both Leaves layers

Open Element4
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Tree 1
Position behind the Leaves layers

Duplicate and on the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 2
Reduce the opacity to 61
On the original, apply the same drop shadow

Activate the Rock layer – this should be the top layer
Open Element12 and resize by 55%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Chest
Position on the right side of the Rock, covering the bottom of Tree 1
Add the same drop shadow
Activate Tree 1 and erase any leaves that are below the Chest
Do the same for Copy of Tree 1

Open Element2 and resize to 35%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Light
Position in front of the chest where it looks best
Apply the same drop shadow

Open Element23 and resize to 35%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Compass
Position at the base of the Rock, where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow

Open Element4 again and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Tree 2
Position in front of the rock between the Chest and Compass
Add the same drop shadow

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Position where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow

Open WordArt1 and resize to 450 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Wordart
Position where it looks best
Adjust, Brightness & Contrast, Brightness/Contrast

Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add the same drop shadow

Activate the white background
Open a paper of choice – I used Paper3
Resize to 650 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for RR_MaskSet_1_1 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize by 85%, all layers unchecked
Erase any mask you can see below the main tag area
Duplicate to make the mask a little darker

Hide the white background and crop away any excess canvas
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Edit, Paste as a new layer – rename Blur
Increase the canvas size to 650 x 650 , central placement selected
Move Blur to the top of the layer palette – Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 8
Change the blend mode to Overlay and reduce the opacity to 50

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Moonlime
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, Convert to raster
Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel

Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add the same drop shadow

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own tagger watermark as a new layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 😀
