My Treasure

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Fonts of Choice – I used Rockstar and Chamille
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Mask 152 & 155 by Miztiquee
Ships Ahoy CDO Collab 2019 – I used the portion by Karmalized Scraps

I used the awesome artwork of Martin Abel
You can purchase his work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Martin’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 550 x 550 and flood fill with white
Open Element_54 and resize to 400 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Fence
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 2 / H: 4 / Opacity: 49 / Blur: 9.90 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open Element_59 and resize to 400 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Sand
Position along the bottom of the Fence
When happy, duplicate
On the original – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 8

Activate Copy of Sand
Open Element_56 and resize to 175 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Rocks 1
Position on the left end of the fence
Add the same drop shadow
Back to Element_56 – Edit, Undo
Now resize to 75 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Rocks 2
Position on the right end of the fence
Add the same drop shadow
Move below the 2 sand layers

Open Element_32 and resize to 175 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Sign 1
Position behind Rocks 2 on the fence

Add the same drop shadow again

Activate Rocks 1
Open Element_38 and resize to 125 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Sign 2
Position along the bottom of the sand, overlapping Rocks 1

Add the same drop shadow again

Activate the white background layer
Open Element_34 and resize to 300 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Tree 1
Position where it looks best behind the Fence
Add the same drop shadow

Open Element_31 and resize to 300 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Tree 2
Position where it looks best and add the same drop shadow

Activate the white background
Open a paper of choice – I used Paper_03
Resize to 550 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 1
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for Miz_Mask_152 or one of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize to 85%, all layers unchecked

Open another paper of choice – I used Paper_02
Resize to 550 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 2
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for Miz_Mask_155 or one of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize to 85%, all layers unchecked
Change the blend mode to Mulitply or a blend mode of choice

Activate the Copy of Sand layer
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized to 65%, all layers unchecked
Position your tube where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow
Duplicate your tube and on the copy – Adjust, Blur Gaussian Blur – radius set to 10
Change the blend mode to Soft Light and reduce the opacity to 77

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Rockstar
Set your foreground to a dark color from your tag, background set to null
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Stroke width set to 1.5
Add your text of choice, I wrote ‘MY TREASURE’
Position where it looks best
Do Not Convert to Raster
Duplicate and on the copy – Convert to raster – rename Outline
On the original, click the +/arrow on your layer palette
Right click on the indented layer and select Properties
Turn off the foreground and the background will turn on automatically, the color doesn’t matter
Convert this layer to raster now – rename Fill
Selections, All, Float, Defloat, Invert
Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer – I used Paper_11
Position the part you want inside your text
On the Paper layer, press delete
Selections, None
You can now delete the Fill layer
On your paper layer – rename Fill
Activate the Outline layer and add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 40 / Blur: 2.97 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Select another font – I used Chamille
Set your foreground to null and your background to a color of choice
All other settings the same
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins. Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add the same drop shadow as used on the Outline text

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Delete the white background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done
