Sexy Spring

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Graphitel
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
DD_NVM_2 Mask by Dee
Anna Liwanag Tube/Scrap Bundle pkg 98 by Foxys Designz

I used the awesome artwork of Anna Liwanag
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Anna’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 650 x 650 and flood fill with white
Open Frame2 and resize to 475 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Main Frame
Duplicate twice for a total of 3 frame layer
Rename the first copy – Bottom Frame
Rename the second copy – Top Frame
Move Bottom Frame below Main Frame on the layer palette

With Bottom Frame active
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 6
Activate Top Frame and apply the same Gaussian Blur with the same settings
Change the blend mode to Overlay and reduce the opacity to 51
Activate Main Frame and add a drop shadow of choice – I used
V: 0 / H: 4 / Opacity: 47 / Blur: 15.84 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Activate Top Frame again
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized to 45%, all layers unchecked
Position along the base of the frame
Add the same drop shadow as used on Main Frame

Open Element38 and grab your Selection Tool with these settings:
Selection type: Rectangle / Mode: Add (Shift) / Feather: 0 / Anti-Alias: Checked
Select the bottom cluster of leaves

Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Leaves
Move below the Main Frame layer and position where they look best
Duplicate and on the original, add the same drop shadow

On the Copy of Leaves – rename Leaves 2
Resize to 45%
Move above Main Frame and position where they look best on the Frame
Add the same drop shadow

Open Element40 and resize to 85%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Tree
Position to the left of your tube or where looks best
When happy, erase any trunk you can see below the tube
Add the same drop shadow

Open Element11 and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Sparkles 1
Position on the left side of your tube, abve the Tree and below the Tube layers
Duplicate and rename the copy – Sparkles 2
Position on the right side of your tube

Open Element7 and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Swirl
Position along the base of your tube
Using your Manual Color Correction tool (mini tut here)
Recolor to a complimentary color, these are my settings

Activate the white background layer
Open Element48 and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename BG
Add the same drop shadow BUT change the color to #541F35

Open Element50 and resize to 90%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename BG 2
Position so you can just see it from behind the main tag area
**Optional** Using your Manual Color Correction tool
Recolor to a complimentary color, these are my settings

Duplicate and on the original, apply the same drop shadow, setting the color back to Black
On the copy, apply the same Gaussian Blur as previously used

Activate the white background again
Open a paper of choice and resize to 650 pixels, I used Paper9
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for DD_NVM_2 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group

Duplicate the Mask layer
On the copy – Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top
Change the blend mode to Soft Light and reduce the opacity to 73

Hide the white background layer
Crop away all excess canvas
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Paste as a new layer – rename Top Blur
Ensure this is the top layer (Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top)
Increase the canvas size to 650 x 650, central placement selected
Apply the same Gaussian Blur
Change the blend mode to Overlay and reduce the opacity to 51

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Graphitel
Set your foreground to null, background set to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, Convert to raster
Duplicate and working on the original – Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 2
On the copy – Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel

Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 0 / H: 4 / Opacity: 56 / Blur: 1.98 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own tagger watermark as a new layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done
