Land Of Make Believe

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
An Image of Choice – I used this one from FreePhotos
Font of Choices – I used Austin and Dream Of Spring
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Mask011 by Karma
IB_CuddlyRigorMortis_111-1 by Karmalized Scraps

I used the awesome artwork of Cuddly Rigor Mortis

Please do not use Kristin’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill with white
Open Element (3), copy and paste as a new layer – rename Grass Base
Move down on your canvas a little so it’s not quite in the middle
Open Element (7) and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Fence
Position towards the top of the Grass Base
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 2 / H: 3 / Opacity: 56 / Blur: 10.90 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open Element (2)
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Grass 1
Position behind the Fence on the right
Now erase any you can see below the Fence

Duplicate and on the original, add the same drop shadow
On the copy – rename Grass 2
Move over to the left and move up a little
Add the same drop shadow
Move Grass 2 below Grass 1 on the layer palette

Open Element (2) again and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Grass 3
Position in front of the Fence, where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow

Activate the Fence again
Open Element (5) and resize to 20%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flowers
Position on the left end bottom edge of the Fence

Duplicate and on the copy – Image, Flip
Position overlapping the previous layer

On the copy – Duplicate and Image, Mirror
On the original – Duplicate and Image, Mirror
Add the same drop shadow to all 4 flower layers
Hide all layers except the 4 Flower layers
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible – rename Flowers

Open Element (1) and resize to 45%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Wheel
Position in the middle of the fence, as if it’s leaning against it
Add the same drop shadow

Activate the white background layer
Open Element (25)
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Window
Position behind everything, where it looks best

Use your selection tool with these settings:
Selection type: Rectangle / Mode: Add (Shift) / Feather: 0 / Anti-Alias: Checked
Select around the Frame of the Window
Add a new raster layer – rename Picture
Copy and paste an image of choice into the selection
Selections, None
Move Picture below the Window layer
Add the same drop shadow to the Window

Open Element (9) and resize to 55%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Cloud 1
Position at the top left of the Window and move below the Window and Picture layers
Duplicate and rename the copy Cloud 2
Resize Cloud 2 by 85%, all layers unchecked
Move over the right side of the Window
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 2 / H: 3 / Opacity: 68 / Blur: 22.77 / Color: #444E60 / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Add the same drop shadow to Cloud 1

Activate the Window layer
Open Element (26) and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Tree
Position on the left edge of the window
Add the same drop shadow as used on the Fence

Activate the Wheel layer
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized to 55%
Position where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow as used on the Tree

Open Element (5) again and resize to 20%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower 2
Position slighlty overlapping part of your tube where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow

Activate Grass 3
Open Element (10) and resize to 30%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Book
Position where it looks best and add the same drop shadow

Activate the white background layer
Open a paper fof choice and resize to 600 pixels – I used Paper (5)
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for Karmalized_Mask011 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize to 85%, all layers unchecked
Duplicate and on the copy – change the blend mode to Mulitply
Erase any of both mask layers from below the tag area

Activate the Book layer – which should be the top layer
Select your preset shape tool with these settings:
Shape: Ellipse / Anti-Alias & Create as Vector: Checked / Line style: Solid / Width: 3.00
Draw a circle round the tag area

Do Not Convert to Raster

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Austin
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Position your mouse over the edge of the circle until you get a +A) or +T) symbol
Click and add your text of choice, I wrote ‘in the land of make believe

Click the +/arrow symbol on the vector layer
Now on the indented layer, click the eye to hide the shape layer
Now convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add the same drop shadow

Choose another font, I used Dream Of Spring
Keep your settings the same, changing the background color of needed
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add the same drop shadow

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Delete the white background and crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done
