Skully Gin

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Animation Shop
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Juliette Script
Xero – Porcelain
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Mask155 & 157 by Millie
Animation of Choice – I used Ani5 from Pkg 2 by Rebel Dezigns
Simona Candini Tube/Scrap Bundle pkg 8 by Chaos Priestess

I used the awesome artwork of Simona Candini
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Simona’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill with white
Open El45 and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 2 / H: 5 / Opacity: 40 / Blur: 7.92 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open El47 and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Clock
Move below the Frame layer
Selections, All, Float, Defloat
Add a new raster layer – name Clock Top
Open a paper of choice – I used Paper4
Image, Flip – Copy and paste into the selection
Selections, None
Change the blend mode on Clock Top to Overlay and reduce the opacity to 48
Duplicate and rename Clock Bottom
Move below the Clock
Activate the Clock, change the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy) and reduce the opacity to 77

Activate the white background layer
Open El28 and resize to 90%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename BG 1
Open El33 and resize to 60%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename BG 2
Position towards the bottom of the Frame (keeping in below the Clock Bottom layer)
Move below BG 1

Open El41
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Time
Move below both BG layers
Position so just part is visible at the top of the Frame

Erase the bottom part, I selected the area to be deleted

Add the same drop shadow as used on the Frame

Open El40
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower
Image, Mirror
Position the top flower between the two sections of Time at the top of the Frame
Add the same drop shadow
Now erase any of the flower stem that is visible below the Frame

Activate Frame
Open El03 and resize to 60%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Tree
Image, Mirror
Position on the left side of the Frame
Add the same drop shadow

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Position where it looks best
Resize if required, I resized to 45%, all layers unchecked
Duplicate your tube
On the original tube, add the same drop shadow
On the Copy of Tube – Effects, Plugins, Xero – Porcelain
Use the default settings

Activate the Tree layer
Open El26
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Hat
Position behind your tube layers on the right
Add the same drop shadow

Open El37 and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower 2
Image, Mirror and position on the left behind your tube
Add the same drop shadow

Open El02 and resize to 50%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Jar
Position to the left of your tube, where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow

Open El04
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Chess
Position so it looks like it’s leaning on the Jar
Add the same drop shadow

Open El44 and resize to 40%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower 3
Position between your tube and the jar
Add the same drop shadow
Duplicate and move up and to the right a little

Activate your white background layer
Open a paper of choice – I used Paper1
Resize to 600 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 1
Layers, Load/Mask Disk, Load Mask from Disk
Look for MPM_mask155 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Duplicate and on the copy – Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top
Change the blend mode on the copy to Overlay and reduce the opacity to 57

Activate Mask 1
Open another paper of choice – I used Paper5
Resize to 600 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 2
Look for MPM_mask157 or one choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group

Hide the white background
Crop away any excess canvas

Activate Copy of Tube
Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Juliette Script
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add the same drop shadow

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
At this point you can save as a jpg/png

To Animate
Activate the white background
Layers, View, Current Only
Now unhide all layer up to and including the Frame
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged

Over to Animation Shop (AS)
Edit, Paste as a new animation
Open your animation of choice – I used Ani5 from pkg2
Duplicate your tag base so until it has the same number of frames as your animation
Edit, Select All
On the animation – Edit, Select All, Copy
On the tag – Edit, Paste in selected frame
Position where you want the animation

Back to PSP
Layers, View, None
Now unhide all layers above the Frame
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Over to AS – Edit, Paste as a new animation
Duplicate so it has the same number of frames as you base tag with ani
Edit, Select All, Copy
On your base tag – Edit, Select All, Paste into Selected frame
Save as a gif file
Done
