Shades Of Autumn

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Fonts of Choice – I used Mengano and Autumn in November
Xero – Softmood & Mistifier
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
RD_MaskSet70_Mask2 & RD_MaskSet72_Mask1 by Rachel
PinUp Toons Tube/Scrap Bundle pkg 265 kit by Curious Creative Dreams

I used the awesome artwork of PinUp Toons
You can purchase his work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Rion’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 650 x 650 and flood fill with white
Open (F1), copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 5 / Opacity: 63 / Blur: 16.83 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Open (17), copy and paste as new layer – rename Leaves
Move below the Frame and position along the top of the frame

Add the same drop shadow

Open (5), copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flowers
Image, Mirror
Position over the top of the Leaves
Add the same drop shadow

Activate the white background layer
Open a paper of choice – I used (1)
Resize to 650 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 1
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for RD_MaskSet70_Mask2 or one of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group

Open another paper – I used (5)
Resize to 650 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 2
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for RD_MaskSet72_Mask1 or one of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Change the blend mode to Multiply and reduce the opacity to 73

Activate the Frame
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized to 60%, all layers unchecked
Duplicate and on the copy – Effects, Plugins, Xero – Softmood

Change the blend mode to Soft Light
Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 5 / Opacity: 50 / Blur: 5 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open (13) and resize to 60%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower Ball
Position on the bottom left corner of the Frame
Add the same drop shadow as used on the Frame

Open (5) again, copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower 2
Position over your tube where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow

Open (F4) and resize to 50%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame 2
Position on the bottom left corner of the Frame
Grab your Freehand Selection tool with these settings:
Selection type: Point to point / Mode: Add (shift) / Feather & Smoothing: 0 / Anti-Alias: Checked
Select round the inside of Frame 2

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer again – rename Frame Tube
Resize if needed, I resized to 85%, all layers unchecked
Position part of the tube you want inside Frame 2
Selections, Modify, Feather by 2
Selections, Invert and press delete on Frame Tube
Selections, None
Change the blend mode to Luminance (legacy) and reduce the opacity to 42
Activate Frame 2 and apply the same drop shadow

Open (36) and resize to 40%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower 3
Position on the top right of Frame 2
Add the same drop shadow

Open (30) and resize to 40%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower 4
Position on top of Flower 3
Add the same drop shadow

Open (9) and resize to 60%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Key
Position on the right side of the Frame
Add the same drop shadow

Open (1), copy and paste as a new layer – rename Buttons
Position on the top left of Frame 2
Move below Frame 2 and Flower 2 on the layer palette
I erased the two side buttons
Add the same drop shadow

Activate the Tube
Erase any tube you can see below Frame 2 and Flower Ball

Hide the white background layer
Activate the top layer – Layers, Merge, Merge Visible to a New layer
On the Merged layer – Effects, Plugins, Xero – Mistifier

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Mengano
Set your foreground to null, background to a dark color or black
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your text of choice, I wrote ‘Shades of Autumn’
Image, Free Rotate, 90 degrees to the Left
Position along the left edge of the tag
Lower the opacity to 67

Select your text tool and choose another font – I used Autumn in November
Keep your settings the same, changing the background color
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy with the size and position, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 40 / Blur: 4 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done
