The Boss

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Fonts of Choice – I used Adamd and Glossy
MuRa’s Meister – Copies
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
AoRK Mask 239, 252 & 281 by René Kunert (masks are in pkg 5 & 6)
MarylineCazenave Tube/Scrap Bundle pkg 98 kit by LHD Scraps

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 450 x 450 and flood fill with white
Open Frame4 and resize to 300 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame
Open Ele28, copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame Fill
Move below the frame layer on your layer palette
Activate the Frame and grab your magic wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Select inside the Frame – Selections, Modify, Expand by 5 pixels
Selections, Invert
Activate Frame Fill and press delete
Selections, None

Activate the white background
Open Ele36 and resize to 35%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower Circle
Effects, Plugins, MuRa’s Meister – Copies
Choose the Encircle preset with these settings:

Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 50 / Blur: 7.92 / Color: #151515 / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open Ele46 and resize to 55%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Decorative
Add the same drop shadow

Activate the Frame
Open Ele40 and resize to 75%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Lamp
Position so the top of the lamp is a little above the top right corner of the Frame

Add the same drop shadow
Don’t worry about the bottom of the lamp we will erase that later

Open Ele17, copy and paste as a new layer – rename Clock
Position on the top left corner of the frame
Apply the same drop shadow
Again don’t worry about the bottom

Open Ele21 and resize to 125 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Hat
Position on the bottom right corner of the Frame, covering the bottom of the Lamp

Add the same drop shadow
Now activate the Lamp and erase any pole you can see below the Hat layer

Activate the Hat layer
Open Ele38 and resize to 300 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flowers
Position the left flower at the bottom of the Clock

Add the same drop shadow
Activate the Clock and erase any pole from below the Flowers

Activate the Lamp
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized to 45%, all layers unchecked
Position where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow
Erase any Tube you can see below the Flowers/Hat layers

Open Ele24 and resize to 45%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower 2
Position behind the clock, where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow

Activate the white background layer
Open a paper of choice and resize to 450 pixels, I used Paper1
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 1
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for AoRK-Mask-281 or one of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize to 90%, all layers unchecked
Duplicate and on the copy – Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top
Change the blend mode to Soft Light and reduce the opacity to 67

Activate Mask 1 again
Open a paper of choice and resize to 450 pixels, I used Paper11
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 2
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for AoRK-Mask-252 or one of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize to 85%, all layers unchecked
Resize again by 95%, all layers unchecked

Open another paper of choice and resize to 450 pixels, I used Paper2
Copy ad paste as a new layer – rename Mask 3
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for AoRK-Mask-239 or one of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize to 88%, all layers unchecked

Activate Copy of Mask 1
Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Adamd
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Type out your text of choice, I wrote ‘The Boss!’
Position along the top of your tag
Image, Free Rotate, Left by 10 degrees
Convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add the same drop shadow

Still with your text tool, choose another font – I used Glossy
Keep your settings the same, changing the background color if required
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Duplicate and on the original add the same Gradient Glow, changing the color if needed
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set o 3
On the copy, apply the same drop shadow BUT change the color to #FFF5F1

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Delete the white background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done
